Driving travel channel, featuring car driving in different parts of the world. Today we drive in Piriápolis, Uruguay located in the Department of Maldonado. We drive from east to west along the Rambla de los Argentinos, the beachside road. At our left we have the beautiful beach and at our right shops, bars, restaurants and hotels, including the landmark Argentino Hotel. We get "inside" the city to see the beautiful buildings, with some art deco examples.
Piriápolis has a very nice beach in one of the most beautiful natural environments. The vision of Mr. Piria made was responsible for the existence of this city. It has a fantastic architecture not always well maintained. The hills around the city give it a wonderful frame and the beach on the Río de la Plata completes the picture! This is a very nice place in Latin America for a summer vacation!
