The Jenolan Caves are limestone caves located within the Jenolan Karst Conservation Reserve in the Central Tablelands region, west of the Blue Mountains, in Jenolan, Oberon Council, New South Wales, in eastern Australia. The caves and 3,083-hectare reserve are situated approximately 175 kilometres west of Sydney, and 30 kilometres west of Katoomba.
Drive west, following signs to the Blue Mountains and Katoomba. Pass Katoomba, then at Hartley Historic Village, turn left at the Jenolan Caves turnoff. Jenolan Caves Road will take you through the tiny village of Hampton and finally to Jenolan Caves.
Once you have passed Katoomba, this trip offers spectacular scenery. However, if you have time, explore the Blue Mountains along the way.
