Not gonna lie, I felt chills at the ballroom scene because of how accurate it looked like, straight out of the film. Kudos to the creators and designers of this ride!
As a southern Californian, I'm kind of jealous of Japan. You guys get all the charm and theming of the original Disneyland, with all the perks of it being more modern. A beautiful park for an beautiful country; I hope to visit some day.
As a Southern Floridan, I feel the same way. Japanese really know how to produce quality sense of fairy tale fantasy and adventure. Such a shame they suffer low birth rate due to a work obsession mindset culture. Not having enough citizens to officially replace the aging population that keeps this high quality of production and services going. Some towns and neighborhoods are literally ghost towns.
Growing up in OC CAL I grew up near Anaheim and have always loved the Disneyland park but I have never seen a ride this beautifully created. I’m not even into the beauty and the beast story, but that’s irrelevant, this was incredibly well made.
@@misskyle1279 I was gonna say I thought it was Pepper's ghost effect due to how similar it functions to Haunted Mansion. I think I kind of figured out how they might have done it. The actual human animatronic is there in stand by mode while the transform effect begins. The main figure is probably underneath the ride vehicles so and upon entering the pepper's ghost effect is turned out. Once the figure has been lifted and is turning, I assume there is a elevator sort of like function which lowers the animatronic figure right as the effect turns off and a overlay projection comes into frame so it seems flawless. I also assume that if the transformation scene somehow stops working (say problems with the animatronic figure), the Pepper's ghost effect also helps as a "mode b" option.
@@misskyle1279 I understand the theory behind Pepper's ghost but i am really struggling to align that to the Transformation scene! looks like pure magic!
Everything about this is incredible. The entrance. The walkway. The animatronics. The tea cups as the ride?! THAT BEAST TRANSITION?! BRB while I book a flight to Tokyo from California
I'm blown away by the beasts transformation!! it looks like a full animatronic and then poof no more best like he dissolves into the background!!! i love it i wish more rides everywhere were like that
I really wish that they would have a ride like this in Florida so badly!!! I would be riding it sooooooooo many times. This looks so fantastic & magical!!!
WOW, I had no idea that was at the Tokyo Disneyland, That's awesome. I can't even afford the Disneyland that's in my own country though, so, glad you put this up for all to see. Thanks.
Believe it or not, tickets to Tokyo Disneyland are much cheaper than in the US. Even though things are much more expensive in Japan. It's because Tokyo Disneyland and Disney Sea are not owned by Disney. These are the only two Disney Theme parks not wholly owned by Disney.
I thought this attraction would be in France. Since that’s the setting of the movie. Disneyland Paris had a missed opportunity cause that ride was magical. Especially the transformation scene.
Its more of a budget thing ! Japan actually doesn’t set a budget for the new rides usually which makes it easier for the engineers to just care about quality and nothing else !
If there's an award for ride design, this is amazing. From start to finish. The decor, set design, story. The spinning ride fits so well with the theme of each scene. Beautiful
All of the videos and pictures from Tokyo Disney are so amazing! They put so much hard work and creativity into their parks I hope one day to travel there and see it myself!
I'm a Californian that's learning some Japanese and I'd just like to say this is the most beautiful ride I've ever seen. Beauty and the Beast is my favorite Disney movie (my family hates it though), and everything from the animatronics to the voices to the effects was really perfect! I hope I can visit Japan one day and ride this. I love your culture and this ride so much!
Did I tear up watching this??? Yes...yes I did. Beauty and the Beast is my absolute favorite movie! The way they captured the scenes and brought them to life is just absolutely beautiful!!!!! I hope to see this in person one day🥺
Curious fact to all those english readers reading this. The reason why the animatronics are so spot on with the animation is because all the original artist for "BEAUTY AND THE BEAST" in 1992 were asked to re-ketch the character design. That's how the programmers were able incorporate all the movements. That explains why it's so spot on to the animation.
