On the 26th of September 2023, CrossCountry operated a series of railtours celebrating the withdrawal of the Class 43 HST after over 40 years of service on CrossCountry routes. The first of which, originated at Leeds and terminated at Swanage.
This tour was scheduled to leave Leeds at 06.35 AM but actually left about five minutes late.
The next tour went from Swanage to Bournemouth, and then back.
Finally, there was the Swanage to Leeds return which arrived back into Leeds at 23:52.
43008 and 43007 were in charge for both of the tours.
The tours seen in this video are the 'Pines Express' at Leeds.
