Please read this! If you're here, then you're one of the many people who still prefer long form content like this full flight. I'm talking about regular, horizontally filmed content. I am one of those people too! Please don't forget to leave a like, and comment on my full flights and other long form videos. It really helps show RU-vid this is something you and others enjoy and want to see. That's the easiest way you can help support the channel. I say all of this because RU-vid Shorts have become a large deal on RU-vid, and although they may have their place, they are not paying for what you see on here every day. I pay for everything you see on here and I make pennies on the dollar for views on Shorts vs. long form content like this full flight. In the last couple of months, RU-vid shorts have begun accounting for nearly 50% of my channel views every month, and currently 9 of my 10 best performing videos in the last 28 days are Shorts. We, as people who love long form content, which is what RU-vid is built on, need to help show RU-vid that we still want this type of content. So please, if you love these types of videos like I do, be sure to leave a like and a comment! Level of engagement with a video is the #1 way RU-vid judges whether something should be recommended to others. Thanks everyone! As always, I appreciate everyone who continues to love and support the channel!
Long time follower here. I love your channel and appreciate what you do. I prefer long form videos. These help me sleep and focus while working. Will definitely donate to your channel to help support all that you do. 👏🙌
WOWOWOWOW!!!!! Spectacular views of the Tetons!!! Good views of the Clearwater Mountains. Good views coming into Sea-Tac. Whoa!! There's my house!! There's Kingston over there. If you ever find yourself in Kingston, stop in at the Grub Hut. They have fantastic burgers, many different kinds and over 2 dozen sauces that you can put on it. Their meat comes from grass-fed NW raised animals. Good view of Ballard. Good view of Magnolia and Queen Anne Hill. Great views of the Space Needle. Hey, that's the office building where I work!! Good view of Harbor Island. Yes, that's all completely man-made. They blasted away the hills in the Denny Regrade area and used all of the dirt to create this island. I admit that I've never been to Wyoming. I've flown over it many times, but I have yet to visit it. Back in 2017, one of my friends flew to JAC to see the solar eclipse. She posted pictures online. Her husband drove to Jackson Hole rather than flew and had travel adventures of his own along the way. You may have also flown over the Frank Church River of No Return wilderness area. Back in the 1930s, the US Govt called this the Primitive Area and declared it to be preserved forever.
My resent Alaska flight was amazing their was a weeding onboard and I got to check out the cockpit and the pilot gave be 19’567 points on Alaska Airlines he even told me his name it was the best flight I ever has make sure to fly Alaska ✈️
@@sla31 Well you definitely have a loyal fan base although sometimes I wonder if you're driving yourself to illness with all the time and effort you put into these vids.
@@tradewins well I don’t know about illness, because I really can’t think of anything more fun to do than running this channel. I’m certainly not driving myself to financial success though 😂. It’s a grind on that front for sure. But I knew it would be when I decided to try to tackle this full time. I’m not saying you do this, but sometimes people glamorize stuff like this. YouTubing and social media. They see the people like Sam Chui and Noel Philips who are really successful and think everyone who makes content full time is just rolling in the $$$. And uh, I can tell you, that’s not the case 😂. Believe me, if money was not issue, there’s be 7 full flights per week and every awesome flight imaginable on here! So, thanks for all your support over the years my friend! I really do appreciate it!
@@sla31 Your videos are some of the most aesthetically pleasing and eye-opening to be found on RU-vid. Plus certain of the planes generate a roar that is like brown noise - very soothing and great for background, meditation, etc. Like in any business there's usually quality competition so there's no getting around having to work one's way up the mountain. I know, so many people think running a RU-vid channel is a get rich quick proposition but that's really rather naive.
Hmm, I think Alaska has maintenance contractors in Oklahoma City. I don't know what they do there, but that sure is a long time for it have been there. Maybe it's going through a C or D check , which do take quite a bit of time.
Yup. Nice town. This airport is a little weird too because it’s actually inside Grand Teton National Park which explains why there is very little around it. It’s a few miles north of the town. Great place if you ever end up there…you can easily drive through Grand Teton and enter the south entrance of Yellowstone and vice versa.
One of the things I love about this channel is its ability to showcase new destinations to people. I love featuring new cities and places on here, and I love seeing comments like this! Videos like this in Jackson, Wyoming, Homer, Alaska, or Bellingham, Washington sure don't get the views like Los Angles or New York, but I think they're far more interesting! I'm glad I was able to bring you to a new place my friend!
Thanks my friend. I'm glad you enjoyed it. My advice for people who are going to fly for the first time is simply to enjoy it! Get a window seat, and marvel at the miracle of flight. There's no need to be nervous or anxious, although it's understandable if those feelings still turn up. Flying is an incredible experience that we all take for granted now. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the views!
@@sla31 appreciate this. I’ve grown a couple times with family and enjoyed it. I’m sure when I do fly alone the butterflies will be there to start but once I’m up there and marvel at the beauty I’ll calm down. And want to do it over and over again
Great fly! Have you heard Guam will take a direct hit from Typhoon Mawar with winds of 155 mph, an equivalent of Category 4 hurricane which soon to be likely of equivalent of Category 5 hurricane? Hope that doesn't affect your flight.
I have seen that. I've been watching it closely. I'm not going to be anywhere year it. I'm still in Tampa right now and I don't even have plans to be on the west coast then, let alone Guam. I hope it doesn't take as bad a hit as they say!
Would that be the Continental Divide when you passed over the Rocky Mountains ??....anyway GREAT VIDEO.....BTW...I'm heading off to Punta Cana from Nashville next Sunday, May 28th..... a beautiful resort in the Caribbean....
If my geography memory from previous trips is correct, this is not the continental divide. These are the Grand Tetons and I believe the continental divide is slightly farther east than what you can see here in this video. I hope you have a great trip my friend! I'm glad you enjoyed this one!
