Thank you for posting this Ant. I used to travel this route a lot, but I moved further away and never get there now, so it was interesting to see how the area looks now. I'm impressed with the bus, I've never seen anything climb to Burnley Summit that quickly!
I had some nice views on my rides around the Welsh coastal regions last week, no double deckers on the longer routes though due to low bridges otherwise I might have got some good footage like this.
How often do Witchway X43 runs? Every 10/20 minutes? Why that guy has gone mad that he missed the bus and he exit the bus station went mad to the driver? Lol Next bus will be here shortly
In 1979 during the worst of Thatcher's Britain and 3 million unemployed, I unexpectedly became a 21 year old dad. The only relatively stable and decently paid job I could find was a bus driver with Greater Manchester Transport. Occupationally, those were the 7 most boring years of my life. The idea that someone could post an hour plus video on RU-vid of a bus journey is mind boggling. The 21st Century equivalent of those poor souls hanging around Piccadilly station for hours on end, writing down bus numbers. A strange World we live in.
It clearly doesn't concern you? Has this person making the video negatively made an impact on your life by doing so? No I think not. People can have hobbies... not harming anyone in this one. Unless you'd rather them be on the streets committing anti social behaviour?
Like any hobby we do it for pleasure and a distraction from the day to day problems of life. If bus enthusiasm is your thing then do it. If not, well that's fine as well, go do a hobby that you do find interesting. You're only here once, might as well do what makes you happy 😊
Life has changed so much in those years. I've been with my bus company for 2 years and I wanted to bring the excitement into my job. I believe buses are as amazing as they use to be but hopefully changes from the government may help. But thank you for commenting and talking I hope to continue to make videos and make people happy 😁
