When you say ``Tokyo'', there is a big city, but there is also a huge countryside, and there is a wide variety of cityscapes that give you a feel of old Japan, otaku culture, etc.
This place looks incredible! My girlfriend wants to visit Japan for our honeymoon! I will definitely have to come to this place! Thanks so much for sharing!
I have been to Tokyo many times and have not gone up to the sky yet. I leave for Japan again in a week and definitely plan to visit there now. One word....." WOW!!"
Japan is the world's largest earthquake-prone country, but it is also an anomaly, boasting the world's highest building density. That is Japan. People in this country are crazy enough to continue to face natural disasters head-on.XD
Actually Tokyo is only the 9th largest city by population. As people mistakenly include the metropolitan/urban outskirts areas. Tokyo still a great city though and on my bucket list 😁
@@C--A In reality, most people are active in Tokyo, so the population data of Tokyo is not helpful. This is because public transportation in Japan is very developed (especially trains) Many people commute by train from the suburbs of Tokyo, Kanagawa, Chiba, Saitama, Tochigi. Tokyo, Japan has a different structure from other cities in the world. Tokyo is a Mega city where many people link
I finally got to cross the scramble crossing when I was there but I wasn't able to visit the tower viewing platform in the daytime. This is definitely on my list for next time. I did go to the top of Skytree and I completely agree with everyone else who says Tokyo feels endless from every angle. It's crazy how densely built the metropolitan area is.
I am thinking if there will br so many trees in streets then i am sure that it will be looking gorgeous. Imagine high rise building, amazing skyscraper with beautiful roads decorated with trees
just went to shibuya square last week around 5 pm. The ticket to the Sky was sold out for the day. A ton of tourists and lines of people everywhere. It was bummer I couldn't get to the top here but would have been terrible anyways with zillion people filling the roof top. Hope to get up there one day with only a few people!
I’m sorry to hear that. You need to make a reservation in advance in order to get up there. But even if you have an advance ticket, if the weather is not good, they close the rooftop.
Thank you so much for the high quality video, I saw the new National Stadium (新国立竞技场in Tokyo for the 2020 Olympic Games, and the Toranomon Azabudai Project under construction behind Roppongi New Town, which will be completed in 2023 and is the second tallest building(330m) in Japan besides the Tokyo Sky Tree(634m) I'm looking forward to visiting Japan again !
Thanks for the video. Tokyo is a beautiful awesome incredible city and the Shibuya skytower looks awesome. I will be going to Tokyo in September and I am excited and I am looking forward to it. The Shibuya skytower is one of the many things I will be going to and will be checking out while I am in Tokyo.
i love how in Japan you can have outdoor spaces and beautiful pieces of art on display without the worry of theft and vandalism. Where I am from an interactive art piece or public lounging area would get destroyed by idiots and homeless people. So frustrating. If it ain't bolted down it will get stolen....and sometimes even if it is bolted.
That is a must visit. Amazing views of all the skyscraper areas of Tokyo, it's great to see them all with that 360° walk. And they really went all in with the experience on that second elevator (9:38), as if you are really going to the sky :)
Thanks so much for sharing!! I visited Tokyo just before the Scramble Square opened so I missed out but loved watching this. The views are incredible and the layout is very well done. Missing Japan heaps!
Wow, so many things come to mind how curtious people are unlike in the West were rudeness runs rampant and everybody thinks only of themselves in tourist attractions...the shear size, complexity, beauty and a sensory overload from that awesome elevator ride to the night show I'd take my dinner and eat there every night...the vastness of the City and how relatively clean it is ... imagine being there during a storm or a blood moon or eclipse or just a the Sun set or Rose....thank you for this amazing journey
Tokyo is ranked 1st in population. With 37,435,191 people. Followed by Delhi, Shanghai, Sao Paulo and Mexico City, With population in the high to low 20 millions. Tokyo is 3rd by size. Behind of NYC and Boston-Providence. Tokyo is a really safe place. Ranked 1st again for safest big city. With a score of a incredible 92.0/100 score. Followed by Singapore, Osaka, Amsterdam, Sydney, Toronto and Washington DC. And According to the World Health Orginization(WHO) Tokyo is also the *cleanest city* in the world. The city's sanitation system has eliminated over 95% of all human and animal waste from its streets and waterways. Tokyo truly is the best city ever. (Note: With no outskirts or metropolitan, Tokyo is ranked 8.) ❤ Tokyo is truly the nicest city.
Please make a video of Shiodome. Shiodome is a wonderful place that is stylish and full of Japanese sensibilities. It's good that there are less people
...I remember that in 2013 the part at minute 5:00 was in construction and still is! By the way they torn down the building there that were showed in BLADE RUNNER
