Thank you for waiting for the new walk! I came back home last night after 6 days of filming in Gangwon-do. It was very hard, but Gangwon-do was such a beautiful province. I could see many cherry blossoms and beaches there. I hope to be able to walk in Gangwon-do with you soon on my channel! Today, let's walk the beautiful night view of Seokchon Lake Park, which is located around Lotte World Tower in Jamsil-dong, Songpa-gu, Seoul, along the cherry blossom path and Bangi-dong Food Alley. Actually this video was produced as an HDR video, but I don't know why it's not applied.😥 Anyway let's walk!

Seokchon Lake was originally part of the Hangang River, but following a land reclamation project in 1971, the lake formed. As part of the Hangang River riverbed development project in 1971, an artificial island was formed by the gradual accumulation of silt brought from upstream. This formed a separate lake away from the Hangang River. The new lake now has two parts, the East Lake and West Lake, since Songpadaero (a 6 km, 10-lane freeway) was built. Within Seokchon Lake Park is the West Lake and Magic Island. Magic Island is a man-made island that is connected by monorail to Lotte Adventure. Another exciting attraction of the West Lake is Seoul Norimadang, an outdoor venue for traditional Korean performances, which stages various open-air performances and events at weekends. The East Lake, with picturesque scenery created by the combination of the beautiful lake and the lush park, is famous for its jogging circuits and footpaths. The lakeside area also has a number of amenities, including small parks, restaurants, and café. Seokchon Lake Park is one of many popular cultural areas in Seoul.
Suitable for jogging and strolling, the West Lake Area is always busy with city-dwellers and office workers who come here for sports and leisure activities. A number of facilities are provided for this purpose, including an acupressure therapy track. Joggers and walkers can start on the urethane jogging track and finish on the bare foot acupressure track to maximize benefits. All year round visitors come to appreciate the changing seasons by the lakeside. When the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, the lakeside is colored light pink. Without a doubt it is an unmissable spot while visiting Seoul.
Situated beside the West Lake, Seoul Norimadang is a 1,500-seat outdoor theater presenting traditional Korean cultural performances. Since it's establishment in 1984, there have been shows performed regularly on Sundays, and various seasonal performances, as well as other events held for children and younger crowds.
