Hey guys, great video. My wife and I watched it together, sitting here in Fukuoka, where we moved to a year ago. Really feels like we can relate on how awesome we all think Japan is. We can't wait to get out and check out this trail one day. Come down and do a video in Kyushu sometime! Good luck on the channel.

Exactly why I want to move to Japan one day. I love exploring, walking and Japan full of beautiful places. These trails are like walking into a magical world, peaceful, one with nature. I'm learning Japanese slowly, going to take courses next year. We want to do a month long trip within 10 years and see if it would be possible to buy a house near Kyoto/Osaka/Kobe. Thanks for sharing and showing us a side we don't often see in other RU-vidrs videos.

We did this 4 months ago, loved it! Especially swimming in the river after a long hiking day. Our favourite night was in Minshuku Momofuku house in Koguchi Also really enjoyed the night in Yunomine Onsen at J-hoppers.

Hi, great video! We are scheduled to do this hike in November.I see some drone footages. What are the rules regarding the drone. I don’t want to disturb this magical place unless it’s allowed/tolerated. Thanks
@LetsMeetJapan
@LetsMeetJapan 11 месяцев назад
Thanks for the question! Per the Ministry of Land, Infra, Transport, and Tourism (www.mlit.go.jp/koku/koku_fr10_000042.html), there are two main things to keep in mind. (1) Assuming your drone device is above 100g in weight, then you must first register your drone device here (www.mlit.go.jp/koku/drone/) which only costs around $10 USD. This registration will be valid for around 3 years. (2) You are all good to go (can fly just with the registration) unless you are planning to do the below, in which case you will need to get a permission to fly via the first link above provided. You will be able to apply for a permission after creating your account there. - (A) You want to fly it above 150 meters in the sky - (B) Near the airport - (C) Around residential areas where clusters of people live. - (D) Near national emergency areas. - (E) Flying at night when dark - (F) Flying to the point so far away you can't visibly see the device. - (G) You want to fly near people or buildings/cars within 30 meters. - (H) Flying above event venue, e.g. festivals - (I) Carrying dangerous items (e.g. explosive) with the drone in the air. - (J) Dropping materials from the air. - Note: (A) through (D) can be checked via drone maps such as "Drone Maps" in the App Store as well as the government website below. If you're in the "red" area, that means you cannot fly your drone unless you have specific permissions. maps.gsi.go.jp/#10/35.959667/139.674683/&base=std&ls=std%7Cdid2015&blend=0&disp=11&lcd=kunijiban&vs=c1j0h0k0l0u0t0z0r0s0f0&d=vl Hope this helps!

Hey! Thank you a lot for watching 🥹 Nachi Falls are super accessible! You can get up there by car and park super close to the falls! I believe this one would be the closest parking lot: maps.app.goo.gl/f6qtEjMiWYQe2Kcv5 Google Maps won't show you how much longer you need to walk from there to the destination, but it is VERY close! Because this is perhaps the most accessible part of Kumano, it will be packed with tourists. Not to discourage you, just to warn. The falls are truly magnificent, and it is worth visiting for sure. If you can, hike around as much as possible. This way, your journey will be more tranquil ❤️🙏

Japan is very very safe for female solo travellers. I traveled to Kawayu Onsen, Hongu Taisha, Owase and Kumanoshi by myself back 6 years ago. Hiked the Kumano Kodo in Owase. I even walked from Kawayu Onsen to the Hongu Taisha😂

Thank you for watching and your question! Japan is safe, and Kumano is safe, too! General cautious is recommended while you're solo-hiking, but I am sure you are well aware of that!❤️ Other than that, I would not worry at all - its safe!

You made my morning, THANK YOU! We've just started our journey here and getting this feedback from you is truly priceless! 💔🥹 And to your question: I'm a photographer and I do have a professional camera & lenses (that are qreat but expensive!) - Sony a7iii and I shoot with GM 35mm, f1.4 most often. But our videos here are usually a mix of so many different devices: we have a dji mini drone, gopro, and our smartphones 😅 anyways, thank you so very much!! Going to hike Mt Fuji today! Will post soon! ❤️ Oxy

Even as time goes by and the surface of a town changes, nothing changes in the underlying foundation of the unique Japanese culture. The common root of the creation of originality in Japanese culture is the uniqueness of its geopolitical location and the influence of its natural environment. Even if they import culture and knowledge from abroad, they are not dominated by it, and after a certain period of time, they select the content, integrate it with their own culture, improve it, and eventually create a new style because of the influence of their unique natural environment. Japan's original country name "NIPPON”(Japan) means "the land under the sun" , but another name is "YAMATO(WA)” , meaning “Peacefully Harmony among People and Nature”. So Japan's name means “the Land under the Sun” and” the Land of "Great Harmony of People and Nature,” The history of Japan is very old, about 2,000 years since the Emperor's reign, but humans began to live in villages and communities in this island nation about 14,000 years ago, during “the JOMON pottery” culture. (That's 30,000 years ago, if you count the Neolithic period.) Surrounded on all sides by the sea and geographically isolated from the Eurasian continent in the Pacific Ocean, this island nation has a warm and humid climate, and because it is a volcanic island, it is blessed with abundant underground clear water resources, diverse vegetation, and fishery resources. For this reason, people have lived here for tens of thousands of years, enjoying the abundant nature and living in peace with nature. Since ancient times, the people of this land have respected human harmony and have lived in peace by working together as a group. However, while the natural environment of this island nation is rich, it is also harsh and has both light and dark sides. They have shared and enjoyed the blessings of nature by pooling their wisdom and collectively overcoming numerous severe and harsh natural disasters, such as frequent volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, tsunami, summer typhoons, and heavy snowfall in winter. This is because this island nation has a harsh natural environment that cannot be overcome by a single person. Individual power is too weak to face the onslaught of nature, which can destroy the wealth we have built overnight. Therefore, many people should suppress their egos, dislike confrontation, and work together to create a livable environment and maintain cleanliness, and then work together to prevent disasters before they occur and to restore the environment after they have occurred. This is the most wise, efficient, and rational way to maintain peace and harmony in each other's lives, rather than to create more chaos by insisting on each other's selfishness. And this thinkings have given rise to Japan's unique teachings, culture, and behavior. The ancient name of Japan, "YAMATO" or "WA" (peaceful harmony between people and nature), represents the wishes and reality of the people who have been trying to survive in the rich and harsh natural environment unique to island countries, which is different from the dry and stable land of the Eurasian continent. And it is in this ancient Japanese country name "WA YAMATO" that the essence of Japanese culture, the origin and secret of its unique culture, which is very different from the cultures of other Asian countries on the continent, is hidden.
