Oh no... I'm so sorry about that. But when you get a chance next time, please visit Himeji! It's a small city and maybe Himeji castle is the only attraction but I'm proud of my birth place. And there is a Takoyaki shop underground not far from Himeji station which you can't miss! (Do you know Takoyaki?) I always go there to eat at least one (When I'm hungry I buy 2. 😄) It's a little different from regular Takoyaki. It comes with a soup and you dip the Takoyaki into the soup and eat it. It's really good! There is alway a long line by local people.

I visited this Historical and very beautiful Palace ,about 17 years ago .Its very worth to Pay a visit ,while you are staying in Japan . I am wondering how I missed those Samurai Houses sittuated at both sides of the narrow path, Leading to the Palace Entrance .
