Wow, you got a lucky day with no long boats on Pattaya beach! I'm at Koh Lipe now an I've walked around the island. Sunrise beach is full of boats now and looks dirty, it's impossible to swim. Also there; so much rubbish on Sunset beach and in the sea, it's a shame! they need to clean this up! Also they've closed off Sanom beach now, I spoke to the resort owners, looks like they're doing lots of renovation work. It's a beautiful island but they need to look after it. I was a bit disappointed, especially with so many long boats being moored on the beachs and the lack of swimming areas!

Wow sad to hear that because I was thinking it is such a paradise island. I‘ve also done a walking tour around sunset and sunrise beach which I will be uploading today - then you can compare. But there were also lots of boats at sunrise beach. I think it’s maybe worse now because it’s super low season and they are using this time for renovation work. Hope you can still enjoy your stay in this little paradise @JK-rh7lo

Hey thank you so much, glad to hear that - part 2 is coming in a few days! I would definitely recommend to bring cash. Best thing is to bring cash and exchange it in Thailand (not at the airport). The best rates you can get to exchange money is at Superrich in Bangkok. I hope this information is helpful for you. @@morganamorgana4862 thank you! For your accommodation I would recommend staying at Pattaya Beach or Northern Point, because at Sunrise Beach there are too many boats in the water @morganamorgana4862

I mean in Koh Lipe. It would be interesting to see prices at 7 eleven and prices for alcoholic beverages. Thank you.

@@icer1798 for example a beer at the famous sunset bar at northern point was 100 baht. In the restaurants it was cheaper but also more expensive than in other parts of Thailand. I would say Koh Lipe is a little bit more expensive than the rest of Thailand.
