Hello Sanpo Awesome walk. Hope the fan helped keep you cool. Have added this walk to our list to do this on our next trip to London. Stay cool. Chris and Sandra of Canada. PS tommorow is Canada's 153rd birthday. Whoohoo.
Ah, this is a good one, thank you! I've done this walk quite a few times, but usually in the winter, and always starting out from Wapping High Street. Great to see it in the sunshine!
You do quite a variety of different walks, that was a nicely planned route through docklands. I bet you wished the Grapes was open as you walked past. I notice you were walking on the sunny side of Narrow street, rather than in the shade, was that in order to get a clearer picture?
The Grapes is nice pub, I really wished I could have a pint there on my way back. I was walking on the sunny side because lots of cars were parking on the other side.
Late comment to an old video, but should mention The Grapes is actually part owned by Sir Ian McClellan, who has lived on Narrow Street for about 30 years.
Haven't British architects and designers got fed up yet with all those old brown brick facades and white windows that can't even be opened fully? Too many bricks. Too much brown. Give those facades a good paint of different pastel colours mate! And you should have planted more trees in those narrow streets even before those houses got built.
