Good video. Nice to see good local prices, produce and bentos there. Tough to do business in Hawaii with high rent, utility, shipping, business taxes and rise in minimum wages. I see Don Quiote bought Marukai in 2013 and Times Market in 2017. Being the small guy with the competition and shipping costs, it made sense. Oahu has stores so close, it's too easy to drive 2 - 5 miles for cheaper prices. It's nice Longs is still "Longs Hawaii" and not runned like a mainland CVS store. Foodland did good with it's excellent Poke counters and Upscale Stores at Ala Moana and Kapolei mall. I'm ex-kama aina, so nice to see places I went to still around. RU-vid vlogs make good time capsules of what was around that people took for granted. Forgotten Hawaii - 70's and 80's Hawaii are a different world from now. So many cool businesses gone now. 80's Waikiki was the time of great nightclubs and affordable prices and rent.
