Today, I'm riding the Megabus from NYC to Philadelphia, PA. It's a lengthy bus ride, about 1 hour 55 minutes according to the Megabus trip planner. I'm seated on the top level which has a two-by-two seating configuration. I'm in the front of the bus in Seat 3. The bus departed at 5:15 AM EST. Being very early on a Saturday morning, the streets and highways were very light in traffic with no delays and arriving at the destination on time. I didn't use a gimbal so as to give the viewing audience as close to the experience as I am getting. A very audible wind noise is also noticeable and not typical compared to rides I've taken in the past. For safety, there are 3-point seat belts which I used and recommended especially if you're in the front seat. There were supposed to be power outlets but I didn't see them on the seats, in front of me or the panel above where the reading lights were. Also, my seat didn't appear to have any reclining controls. This is my experience but yours may differ.
I'm taking this trip to attend the FanExpo event taking place in the Philadelphia Convention Center. I'll post a link in the description after I've uploaded it. I will also take the Megabus back to NYC and will post a link in the description when I've uploaded it as well.
As I said in the video, when scheduling the trip, it cost $14.99 from NYC to Philadelphia and $49.99 for the ride back. Costs may vary depending on the date and time you book it and for the start and destination of your trip.
