Very interesting material! That was etched with Nital? I am wondering would ferric chloride give even higher contrast? A comparison between the two would be interesting to see.
@@Polandmet I have next to zero experience with the etching so I could be wrong but I've seen recommendations to actuality leave the surface a bit rough for ferric chloride etch. It might be worth a try.
