I heard a rumor that it was because it caused them to have two popular attractions closed at the same time (small world and haunted mansion) to get overlays, so I assume their HMH doesn’t run during Halloween unlike Anaheim’s, which is a shame because that’s an easy fix to the problem rather than discontinue this overlay, because yeah I agree this is great
