Not as nice when I was there a few years ago. Seems to be a rougher crowd now, and gone downhill quite a lot, it looks trashy and cheap like a UK Blackpool beach of the USA.
@@Tony-lj5lr I agree 100%, the UK is a dump now, always had bad weather, and now migrants flooding into the cities and towns, corrupt government (same everywhere) and no money for businesses. I do think Miami has gone downhill, but would trade it over the miserable grey and dull UK any time.
Once you get into the latter afternoon and evenings Ocean Dr might as well be Martin Luther King Blvd. It turns into the hood and it’s not civil or safe IMO. Loud and often morbidly obese girls (usually inappropriately dressed) with attitudes and groups of menacing young males take over the streets after dark. Especially on weekends. I quit going there a couple of years ago. It’s an unsafe mess and certainly not worth what you have to pay to stay there. There are far better places in Florida or the Miami area to vacation.
