I love that all the people called band kids weird in highschool, and now they’re lining a yellow rope just to get a video of those same kids a few years later.
At some schools it’s just the student some students take pride to the school band some don’t care what so ever. How I know this is my school is one where it depends on the student
Love Ohio State. I am from the great state of Ohio and have always wanted to see The Ohio State Band perform. Well in 2023 my husband and I went! It was so amazing to watch The Band come into the stadium and do the Scrpit Ohio! A memory I will never forget.

I think it's stylistic, because they change the stationary marching speed when when the drum major is introduced, plus the faster cadence is used again for its style when introducing the percussion section followed by the rest of the ensemble
