This was a stroll down memory lane as I used to work at OIA. I especially liked seeing the 747 crossing the bridge over the highway.

The only birds in that area that would be up at 900ft i believe the tower operator told the pilot coming in. Would be Turkey or Black Vultures which are VERY common in Florida. They can soar effortlessly on thermal updrafts for hours. You can tell the difference in size with Turkey's being larger. But also how they hold there wings when soaring. Turkey Vultures hold there wings in a V shape called a "dihedral pattern". Where as Black Vultures hold there wings flat and straight when soaring. Nice set of heavies in this video and again great filming.

I saw N2142U come in to LAX the same evening, since UA1190 continued on to LAX from EWR

Brilliant! Love the LH bridge crossing. Beautiful Norse, and curious UA used an “all 7’s” to EWR. Have you heard Norse may add Stockholm? Let’s hope so!

UA mainly use the heavies to EWR and ORD, but only at winter holiday season. So whenever I see one scheduled I run to the airport.
