My father died of lung cancer shortly before In Rainbows was released. He was a single father, I was his only child, best friend, and eventually his 24/7 nurse. He passed away at 52, after a 4 year battle. I was 26 Exactly "half of his life". I would not have survived his death without In Rainbows. I would not have made it through most of life without Radiohead. I am 41 now. *I am so very sorry for your loss. Please know that you are not alone.*
This band just keeps getting better. They have nothing to prove. They refuse to play the "hits". They recreate themselves for every album. They don't sell out. When he goes to the high register at the end of "Let Down"....I cry. Its the building emotions of the song. The melody. The groove. Raw. Exposed. He pushes himself to the point of cracking. Great music is grounded in emotions. This is as good as it gets, in my opinion...thanks for sharing.
"refuse to play the hits?" they play hit singles all the time. This show they play, No Surprises, The Bends & Paranoid Android. All songs that got heavy radio & video play in the 1990's. Maybe you're too young to remember.
beatles7798 This show sent me chasing them the rest of the tour. It didn’t get any better than this night. I’ve never heard them sound so good. 🔥🤩❤️🎶💃🏻🥰
I couldnt agree more. No matter how many times I hear it...it grabs a hold of me. It refuses to be "in the background". 4:54 of an emotional groundswell....that builds to the most satisfying climax. When he goes to the high register at the end "you know where you are with....where you are...". It urges you to close your eyes and reach your hands up to the sky and sing with him....with a tear in your eye.
Radiohead has been my favorite band for well over a decade -- I live in NY but was unable to go to this show. Thank you, so much, for putting this up. What an incredible set. xx
Best performance of ful stop I've ever seen. Literally made me cry. Never been to a radiohead show but this video I can really imagine how amazing it must be
The sound was so good, that it would sound fantastic even recorded on an iPhone. I have been to dozens of concerts at MSG and never heard sound that fine.
Every show I ever saw at the Garden sounded good. What really makes a show there is whoever you see has their A game, because it is the home office of rock and roll. Ok, MSG and Royal Albert Hall, just to be fair.
Great sound?? Where? IT sound awfull but you never know if you listen albums through RU-vid. I recommend CD IT you know what that is, and good stereo not crap ipod
of all the songs in the set, the bends made me cry, something about how old the song is and how they still perform it with the same youthful flare overwhelmed me with emotion
Someone on Reddit speculated they were. Take it with a grain of salt of course, but apparently this dude's friend works at an instrument shop and the boys came in to buy an organ to "play a song we haven't played in a while."
This is great. If we can't get whatever "official" videos were coming out of the South America shows, this is a great substitute. Thanks for doing this.
I saw Radiohead MOnday in Columbus, OH - Best show I have ever seen! First song Daydreaming and tears start flowing down my face. What an amazing band. Radiohead’s music is an exceptional offering, a gift to us all.
I was there for that one. Unbelievably beautiful. I must have muttered "ho-ly shit" a thousand times during that show. Seen them a few times before, every time amazing, but i was with a couple life-long friends and fans of the band who had never seen them at that one.. so Columbus was really special. A gift for sure.

I think it time to acknowledge that Ful Stop is a fantastic live song...I was there on saturday, and they played it and I thought it was arguably the best song of the performance.
coolbritannia97: to think they were just a few hundred miles away and I was unable to experience them makes me weep ....but thank you 1000X ! This is a fantastic job on your part also !
As a long time fan, it was just an experience to have actually seen them live this day!!! I was so lucky and grateful to my co writer who hooked me up with a free ticket after tickets were sold out. Its one thing to sing along to their music when you're studying, writing, or illustrating. but its another thing when you're seeing them live! I'm glad someone uploaded the entire show. Now I can relive this moment for a good long time until I get another chance to see them again live. But seriously, just another worldly experience that I'd like to experience for the rest of my existence haha
47:14 I hear myself screaming “yeahhhh thommm! Woooooo!” Lolol not that everyone else wasn’t going crazy too but its a nice memory lolol Beautiful sound quality
i've been a fan of theirs since kid a and i point o them as an example of great bands that have emerged since the 90s and are still here and evolving! the classyness of their music incorporated such diverse instruments as an ondes martenot and a kaos box! is just so cool!
Robbie Saunders THAT is something I would kill for!!! How lucky you are!!!! Hail to the thief is my 2nd favorite Radiohead album and I think right around the 2003 tour was the best live era for them (though tbh this 2018 one is a close 2nd for me. I’m blown away. ) I was lucky to have seen them at msg July 10 and 13 this tour and I am Still reeling. Prior to that I didn’t go to any shows of theirs until 2016 (though im a long time fan from day 1 Pablo honey Days which Gives away my age a bit lol )
Mrs Thom Yorke and what do you make of this? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-dJIa3__1SvI.html I like I Will, but older version from MEETING PEOPLE IS EASY
Robbie Saunders that is crazy!!!! Lol I agree on “I will” 💜 My attempts at vocal “covers” are hopefully not absolutely horrifying , if you feel like giving a listen at some point. :) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-V4ShMPGu250.html Also this one was fun as hell and not serious lol most of them Aren’t serious but this one def not lol ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Y1Ks1kxJrc0.html
I was supposed to be at this show but didn’t make it. I had never occurred to me to look up this concert on youtube. Feels bittersweet to see what I missed.
1-800-REGULAR 1-800-REGULAR no my friend, the best version live was deleted by RU-vid, i don't remember where the concert was, but really was one of the best versions of paranoid android.
You know I couldn’t get tickets for this event when they went on sale and wasn’t trying to pay 300 for General admission. Glad someone recorded the whole show.
@@danlennon4101 Yeah agreed. Almost sounds like some alternate version of the song. Maybe it sounded different being there in person versus through a phone recording, not sure. Listening again though, I kinda like what he’s doing with the bass. Sounds groovier overall a bit
