@@Playstation5-d9u true I had a 3,0L escape and those are trashy garbage don’t know why people buy those junk especially since they have. Crappy transmission
Should I buy a 2000 chevy s10 4.3 with 80k miles or a 2005 ranger with 120k on the odometer? Which engine is more durable long lasting and powerful? And which transmission holds up longer? I love compact pickup trucks because they maneuver mkre like a sedan but are equally useful as work trucks or for off-road.
I just bought a ranger 2005 with only 170k miles you guys think it will last me the 300k miles? The machanic said there’s no problems what so ever ,hope it does run the 300k miles
It all depends on how it was taken care of. Oil changes i mean. If you have a 4.0L and oil was not changed on time - timing chain guides are being consumed by timing chain and then engine starts making noise by timing chain rubbing on the inside of the head. very common. Chain is located in the back of the einge so the engine has to be taken out for that to be addressed. My only advise would be to change the oil every few thousand miles to keep it lubed to its fullest. that will prolong its life.
I don’t see anything wrong with it the engine looks in great condition,I took it up the grave to Los Angeles and it only took 60 miles per hour to go up the grave ,my little Toyota Yaris has 120k miles and it struggles to go up the grave and this little ranger 2005 when up the grave like a champ 🙄
I just a baught an 05 4.0 4x4. I love it and barely driven it. To bad it's a auto. But oh well. Being in upset ny its definitely rusty. I plan on replacing bed and front fenders. Other than that it's in great shape. It's a little tank.
