@lainelaine8533 Thank you! I’ve been saying that for a while. As much as I love some of the 4th gen boy groups, telling their voices apart has been a real problem for me. Like you, I often put it this way: If I close my eyes, it could be anyone.

This is definitely one aspect that draws me in to SM groups. To think that Super Junior, EXO, SNSD and (especially) NCT who have a bunch of members but SM still manage to put such different tones into one group is truly a great job. And added that they can still harmonize so beautifuly with those voices 😊.

Exactly! plus people would think, the song was simply recorded in autotune or what esp., the new song releases but SM records and produces their songs meticulously. If one checks in their recording, they don't do autotune but do a lot of vocal layering/harmonizations! :) I know the company has been chaotic but full support for SM fam, artists!!

don't think it was pre recorded though... but most of it'slive's audios are cleaned and tuned so you don't hear the raw audio which is why it might sound like it was prerecorded@@findfefito

There's no way a single person can recreate 5 vocal layers + effects they did on the studio. Ofc they need backtrack here and there or it's not gonna sound like the same song. Logic??

Well, all SM Group like that. Of course Riize too. In Super Junior, even Heechul which is the position as visual & dancer and comedian haha was making everyone shocked when he's passed through King of Masked Singer until 3rd round. And Kyuhyun is the one that encourage him to participate while teasing him to not failed in the 1st round 😂

SM idols are crazy talented 🔥 That being said, gotta give credit to where credit is due - SM is top in their field at polishing and nurturing skills. I feel like I see a lot more idols with "wasted potential" in other companies (esp vocals)

the story of all SM groups..it still boggles my mind how every members have totally different tones but can harmonize so beautifully every single time. whenever some member/s were missing, the songs just felt incomplete..i suspect SM made everyone lines up and did a mix and match based on their harmonization before debuting a group lol
