I’ve been reviewing RU-vids of the RC Cruises. Very disappointed with the reviews. Lack of staff, lack of service and closed amenities. From what I’ve read, the steep fees are not worth it.
Thats the problem with these ultra deluxe ridiculously expensive cruises. Not much is happening for a whole lot of money and I mean a whole lot. Like starting at $10,000 a week. Phew. Way overpriced. We did transatlantic on a Solstice Class Celebrity cruise last year. We had a great time with our friends and would do it again (we have done five transatlantic cruises so far) any time. We bid up to a sunset verandah which is considered a prized cabin and had the wifi and drink packages and it was under four grand for two weeks for both of us. And we got Barcelona at the end. The interior of the Sagrada Familia is finally done and its like nothing on Earth.
@shepardsmith3235 Celebrity is great! I’ve only stayed in a standard stateroom on several Celebrity ships - which are lovely. But the bed on the Ritz-Carlton Yacht is the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in, lol. Everything was faultless. So beautiful and luxurious. I felt like I was walking on a cloud the whole time.
We have had high end sleep number beds for decades and I am sure you have too , so what comparisons can you draw. Once I found my sleep number Ive never changed it and never had a bad nights sleep. Always wondered why high end ships dont have them too as most couples have different sleep numbers. @@ShaneHampsheirTV
Hi David, I’m so sorry to hear that. I spoke to many people who return often because they love it so much! What I will say is that they’re very new to the industry, so perhaps give it another try one day. I, personally, loved it. 👍
I appreciate it when people provide an honest post. I am considering a 2024 voyage and perhaps I will monitor other reviews more closely before booking
I didn’t see if they have a crew bar, I’m afraid but I know they had a crew party onboard while I was there. I’m sure they have a bar, I just didn’t get to see it as I was a guest on this particular cruise.
Hi, I found a very helpful video on the Ritz-Carlton account and decided that it was better than what I had filmed. I’d say, it’s not “most” of the video, by the way.
The Ritz-Carlton brand have a target audience I think… But just like anything, you get out what you put in. Great for relaxing in perfect comfort with a little light entertainment on the side.
I was technically working for Ritz-Carlton when I made this video, so tell me why would I bite the hand that’s feeding me. Of course I was going to be positive. I never said anywhere that it was a review, just a brief documentary of my experience onboard. Plus, I put a lot of time into this. Sorry you didn’t like the video.
Plus, I don’t know prices because I was onboard working and was paid to be there. My opinions in the video are positive because I truly had a great time onboard.
