Thanks Barry, it was an interesting season. I didn't get to ski as often as usual, but I have big plans for next season... and there is plenty of good content to come... Also, please let me know when your book is published... I'd really like to read it...

I'm really happy you are getting something from this channel. It makes the effort worthwhile. The way things are going and the progress you are making, I expect you'll be exploring some good resorts next season...

@@ChasingSnow Yeah, well, videoed fore warned is fore armed. BTW FWIW, Yesterday I nearly passed lesson 6, but need to work on my parallel turns, so I've booked 2 hours at CF for next Tues just for practice on my own at my own pace, and then after maybe several more weeks of the same as I work through the SKNG Ski School app lessons on my iPhone to work each technique stage up to and including parallel, as the instructor says Mon and Tue are usually quite. And I can always resit level 6 as I’ve already passed level 5. As for skis I could/might end up the new Rossignol Forza 40, as that is what the senior boot fitter and ski guy at CF S+R recommended for me. We'll see.

@@Puzzoozoo The trick now is to get as much practice as you can. Perhaps check if CF have membership offers where you can ski more for less. You have spring, summer and autumn now so just practice, practice, practice and then you can enjoy the real stuff in winter...

@@ChasingSnow CF do lift passes for post lessons, and for a month you can ski thee all day everyday if you want to. I'll be doing a 2 hour practice session per week - Tuesday - for a couple of weeks or so, then book for a month later say in June, and CF also has membership deals, so will enquire about them at the right time. As for ski's I'm off to Ellis Brigham in Manchester on Friday with a tabled list of men beginner skis to see if the ski guy recommends the same as the senior ski guy at S+R. And I'll be investing in my first set midish May, to get used to my own skis at CF and then on holiday, maybe Alpe D'Huez, or Arinsal or somewhere else. Crystal does 19 resorts aimed at beginners.

The camera makes things look closer than they are. The snow was soft, so a bit more work. I think I had enough by the time I finished this run...
