Such a sick video - the time stamps are excellent! Been skiing at Val Thorens twice, probably say I'm ready for easier reds now, harder blues, any recommendations?
Cheers! I've skied there a few times but not so regularly so I can't really offer great advice on where to ski... however, you could check my playlists of the resorts to see what's suitable...
As someone who has never been skiing, your trip has left me feeling inspired and eager to give it a go. It looks like an amazing experience. Like and support from Bangalore!
All-being-well when I've got past the basics and am comfortable on red runs, for the 2025 or 26 season when I have my first set of ski's I'm hoping to go to Tignes so I can ski down the Grande Motte glacier to Val Claret village. Note: No idea which ski brand I'll be buying as yet.
That's a good choice and nice run as it's generally wide most of the way so you can go wide to manage your speed. There are some narrow parts but not steep. Let us know when you do it...
That was a sunny side of the mountain day. That narrow trail toward the end of your first run looked particularly scary. Strange that downhill racers love ice because it's fast. Me, not so much, and for the same reason.
