Splash Mountain Classic Log Flume Attraction 1 Year Closure Anniversary POV at Disneyland Park in California shot in 4K 60FPS! Splash Mountain is a classic log flume attraction opened at Disneyland Park in 1989! Splash Mountain takes guests into the world of one of the many stories of Br're Bear, Rabbit, and Fox as they go through their mischievous adventures! After thrilling guests with its over 50-foot drop for nearly 40 years, Splash Mountain closed its door in 2023 to make way for Tiana's Bayou Adventure which is scheduled to open soon in Walt Disney World in June 2024 and sometime later this year at Disneyland Park. Today, May 30th, 2024, marks the first anniversary of the Splash Mountain Log Flume Attraction at Disneyland permanently closing its doors to make way for Tiana's Bayou Adventure. While guests can no longer experience the original Splash Mountain at Disneyland, they can still visit Tokyo Disneyland where they have the newest, biggest, and only version of the Splash Mountain Attraction left in the World.

I remember back in 2012 I went with my friend, it was dark and cold and nobody was on Splash, the cast members let us keep ridding it over and over without having to get back into line. We road it 14 times ina row before guests showed up, then we ran back in line to make it 15 haha. Such beautiful memory, was so much fun. Happy I got to ride it so much over the years. At least I still got pirates and tower of terror for my favs 😁

WDW and Tokyo had the best quality.Disneyland had the best music,Each one had its own unique style, Now Tokyo is the only one, but it will live on in our memories. Thanks, splash mountain!!

I think Disneyland was the best attraction out of the three because It's pacing was immaculate. It didn't take too long like Disney World or Tokyo

Tokyo Might be rethemed into Tiana's Bayou Adventure too later in the future
@ratxths
@ratxths 3 месяца назад
@@USSVoyager5 It is certainly possible in the future, but if it does change, it may be on a different theme, as Splash Mountain in Tokyo is located across Adventure and Western Lands from the New Orleans area (Royal Street).

@gabrieldally6044 the California version might fit the new theming better since it's faster paced

I pray for Splash Mountain song of the south extended version Disneyland Magic Kingdom to be constructed right next to Tiana's Bayou adventure itself in a couple of years so everyone can see how exciting that grand opening and everything is innocently going to be all right in about 2 years from June 17th 2024 to August 30th 2026 before I can come over to Orlando Florida for my 35th birthday 🎂 🥳 🎉 🎁 🎊

It's not a happy 1 year anniversary for me. I couldn't even pretend to laugh at the end where the final climb was, and my late dad would be laughing hysterically. Shame on the people who thought that this ride was offensive. Now I've not only lost dad, but his and my favorite ride altogether 🏰

I have a proposed (imaginary) Disney theme park resort, with a Magic Kingdom and will definiteny keep Splash Mountain, as well as all references to Song of the South! That includes, "Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah," playing in the area music loops, character meet and greets with the Br'ers, and merchandise related to the ride and movie!

But the movie it was based on was, I mean one of the main actors wasn’t even allowed to go to the premier. Feedback said people didn’t like it, so it got replaced by a significantly more relevant IP which isn’t swamped in controversy.

The only way Tiana could come close to this is if they added the voodoo guy from the movie and sang “friends on the other side” for the final drop. It would add more suspense than the boring drop WDW has now

Guys this ride is a copy from knott,s
@A_A610
@A_A610 6 дней назад
Inspired by Timber Mountain, but competing against Knott's wasn't the only reason it was added. Guest surveys showed visitors wanted a similarly thrilling water ride at a time when the company was putting more emphasis on getting teens and adults in the parks, and they had a prime plot of land behind Haunted Mansion where a major attraction would do wonders to get traffic to that often overlooked corner of the park. Outside the park, Song of the South's final US theater screenings occurred while the ride was in development, which was determined to be a suitable theme for the ride since it worked as a transition between New Orleans Square's southern theming and Bear (Critter) Country's singing animals, and gave a convenient excuse for Disney to recycle a bunch of additional singing animal animatronics from the recently shuttered America Sings show that needed a new home. There were just a lot of elements that came together at the right time to make Disney jump on the idea.
