Hi friends! 💕I am staying in Sweden for a few weeks and thinking of sharing a few walks with you. The first walk is in the Visby, located on the island of Gotland. It's UNESCO World Heritage Site and the most loved Swedish island! I found the vibe so calming. Also, the town was charming, with many cozy small shops, cafes and Restaurants. It's known for its well-preserved town wall and medieval fortification incorporating defensive towers. I hope you enjoy it. I'm so interested to hear what you thought about this walk. Don't forget to write me a comment and tell me your thought. Much love 💕
Good morning! All good? I really appreciate your videos. They allow me to get to know, at least virtually, places and landscapes that I didn't even imagine existed. Thanks!
Good morning! I appreciate your kind words. I’m happy to know that they've allowed you to discover new places and landscapes that you never even knew existed. Thank you for your support, and I hope my future videos continue to inspire and entertain you. Have a wonderful day ❤️
Yes, I visited Pippi. They have a discounted ticket if you only want to see Villa Villekula. (They kind of acquired the house and built a theme park around it.). I don’t know if I would visit Gotland just for that but of course there are plenty of other things to see on the island. (For Astrid Lindgren fans, I would suggest visiting Vimmerby on the mainland where you can see her childhood home/museum. There’s also a theme park there which I believe has ties to the family.) BTW, hi from California!
Were you on Gotland for that important conference they have there every year in Visby? All the "who's who" in Sweden go there. It's mostly like political and cultural people, not like influencers or anything like that. But I didn't know if it was just coincidental for you.
Are you referring to the annual Almedalen conference? I can see why you might have assumed that, but no, I wasn't in Visby during that time 😊 The video I shot was actually recorded on June 4 and published a bit later date.
@@EllieWalks okay, yeah. It's just strange for someone to go to Sweden and go to Visby first as it's not something on the Top 5 list, at least. Hey, I'm someone who is interested in all things Sweden, so you came up on my recommendations list even though you only have two Swedish videos and the rest are New York City, but I still subscribed
@@Lex.S.theonlyone Well, you are not wrong! I was actually in Visby for an event, although it wasn't related to Almedalen, which is quite popular. Thank you for subscribing! I'm glad to have you here and I hope you enjoy the content❤
