Tenderloin is truly a neighborhood that is getting better! There are nicer parks, new business and new housing building up. Nextdoor, a famous tech company, move it's headquarter to Tenderloin to make it safer. but the question is, can neighborhood get better without pricing out the current residents living in SROs?
Tenderloin's current vision is to build a truly mixed and diverse neighborhood. Some people say it's not possible to get rid of crime and keep the neighborhood affordable.
I saw it done in lots of countries in the world! it is truly doable! I have faith in tenderloin. Let's make it a home for people with different race and income, also being safe and vivid! It's a beautiful place!
Let's enjoy a complete drive of Tenderloin San Francisco, the original original "downtown", Little Saigon, theater district, entertainment area of San Francisco and document the progress!

In Christmas, 2021, this is a peaceful drive though the whole tenderloin neighborhood!

The famously gritty Tenderloin has underground art spaces, classic concert venues such as the Great American Music Hall and historic theaters staging Broadway and indie shows. Its funky, colorful streets feature a mix of upscale, trendy and casual restaurants. Nightlife ranges from dark dives slinging beer and shots to speakeasy-style bars mixing craft cocktails. Little Saigon is known for its Vietnamese eateries
Is The Tenderloin District in SF Safe to Visit? ... Generally, people are afraid to visit the Tenderloin District for a good reason. However, it is not necessary to avoid the neighborhood completely.
