Went there in 2019. For me it's the best city in the world. You even don't realize that you are in the biggest city exist on this planet. Just breathtaking and amazing. I will go there few times more.
Also love how every store and restaurant has their own special lighting, it gives such a unique night city ambiance you don’t really see anywhere else. Makes me feel like I would have to stop and look inside every place. 🤣
you probably dont care at all but does anyone know of a trick to log back into an Instagram account?? I somehow lost the password. I would appreciate any help you can offer me!
@Oliver Gerardo Thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site through google and I'm trying it out atm. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Seriously, I felt I was walking in the street from watching this video. The quality of the video is amazing, but beyond that the angles, it feels so real to be there.
I used to work at a hotel in Chicago and served many people from around the world staying with us. I got to interact and meet a lot of Japanese people, they are some of the most polite, friendly and very well mannered people I have ever met in my life. I pray that I get to visit Japan one day a long with other parts of Asia. Ty for showing us a part of Japan. Blessings.
So do I! I'm always genuinely excited when I hear that someone has booked a first-time trip there because I can already picture their future happiness. Japan will be 100 times better than you are currently imagining...the things you will discover that no RU-vid video has ever shown you. Good luck saving and hopefully this wretched virus will burn out within the next 2 years and by then, not only will international travel be back to being as close to 'normal' as possible but woo, you'll have all this time to save your spending money. :D
ME: I have decided that I want to visit Japan. Urgently. MY WIFE: Where do you want to go there? ME: Just walk in tiny streets, enter in its cozy random restaurants. You wouldn't understand.
Gorgeous! It's the perfect time to walk around Kagurazaka. Early evening is also perfect for wandering around Ueno's market area, also Asakusa and Nezu too. So many areas can develop a new atmosphere depending on your timing-- and I don't mean the izakaya alleys, I mean certain streets or neighbourhoods. I'd LOVE to hear of other people's suggestions for areas that they find are MAGICAL at very specific times of the day/night.
Do more of this "scenic photo spots in Tokyo around the station". I used to love hitch off stations in Tokyo and enjoying some ramen shop or curry rice near the station, and then get back to work when in Japan. Gotta love to do that again (if I can go there again after the pandemic) and making itinerary from your curated video
This is the town for Japanese TV Drama ”拝啓父上様 (Dear My Father)". This drama is growing-up story of a junior chef of historical & traditional Japanese restaurant. Very good drama.
Very nice video. The ambience that the dim, warm-colored lights give the backstreets is amazing, you can almost see just how they were hundreds of years ago, with the little quite izakayas, yet just round the corner it's all hustle and bustle, perfect mix
I went there on January 2020. Stayed in a guest house and walked around the main street of Kagurazaka at night, just like on this video. Thanks for uploading this, it reminds me of my time there. Stay safe!
Unfortunately I've never been to Tokyo, but when I saw the tour, I had the feeling that I knew the city. A fascinating tour without a doubt, thank you very much! I fell in love with the part of those narrow streets.. Thanks again!
Aren't these videos fantastic? We can't go there now because of this wretched horrible virus ruining travel and businesses but at least we can use this time to save money and do loads of research for when we can. Good luck! :)
From a woman point of view, I really need to see what is in every window shop because there are so colorfull. Maybe next time you could give us a shopping tour xD. Love your videos.
LOL yes! That's what makes Tokyo so exhausting: I stop to look at EVERYTHING. When I get back to the hotel I'm so tired from absorbing all the fascinating and beautiful things. :)
I just became a patron on Patreon. Your work is superb! The stereo field and sonic quality of your videos is top notch. Far superior to most others I’ve seen. 👏 I’ve taken to watching your videos during the COVID-19 crisis. On a large 4K television with noise cancelling headphones it really does feel like I’m wandering the streets of another city. Fantastic!
If you went down these sort of alleys in any other country on planet Earth you'd see nothing of interest, just litter, bags of rubbish, bins and homeless people. In Tokyo, they are sci-fi magic mixed with the lovely traditions of the past. I'm like you-- I'm always amazed by what greets me down the narrow, most unlikely of alleyways. Always worth detouring when walking around Tokyo. And off the main roads can suddenly become astonishingly quiet and peaceful, like Togo Shrine just near Takeshita Dori...gorgeous.
I would love to go to Denmark! Soon as Covid burns out and things start to ease up travel-wise, I'll book a trip. Aside from the obvious choice of Copenhagen, where are Denmark's 'hidden gems'? What other town has history, atmosphere, culture and beauty? City or country. Thank you!
The Alleys is where the secrets at. It's where you will find the hidden spots that you will get surprised. Every year we go to Japan. We are just using google maps for directions whenever we are going to places we plan to go. But everytime we misread the direction and we got lost, thats the time you will discover enchanting alleys not every foreigners got to see because most of the time foreigners just go typhical places. I already saw half of the worlds because i worked in a cruiseship before. But i can say easily Japan is my favorite places in this planet. Period!
