Welcome to another trip report! Today we are flying direct to Honolulu (PHNL) with Hawaiian Airlines from Austin, Texas (KAUS). I'm seated in the exit row, which affords INFINITE LEG ROOM! I hope you enjoy!

They've actually already ordered them, but they're expected to take delivery of the first 787-9 in late 2022.

Excellent trip report! Well filmed and very informative! This video has pretty much sold me on Hawaiian on my next trip out from LAX. I used to fly DL on their 767 (points reasons) with 2-3-2 config but they have discontinued them on this route from LAX so I will be booking on the Hawaiian A330 instead as I love a window seat and can't stand having a stranger sitting with me and my traveling companion for almost 5 hours.

I grew up in Honolulu and now I’m going back from Austin next week! The rules have changed about Covid. I uploaded my vaccination card, ID, and trip itinerary to Hawaiian Airlines. They issued me a green QR code that I will show with my phone to get my wrist band when I check in at Bergstrom.

We always fly Hawaiian from Los Angeles and always enjoy their service. We’re happy they’re likely the only domestic airline that still offer meals on their flights…at no charge! I enjoyed your video!

Food looks very nice. Big job to sit at exile row if God forbid there is an accident. On American / UNITED you get nothing. Great airline.

Being that you are so tall, would your legs fit in a regular economy basic seat? Only asking because I’m 6’1

I flew Hawaiian Air , Orlando to HNL a couple months ago. But, I did not know HA was flying from AUS. I flew AUS to Honolulu yesterday. On Delta. (With a loooooog layover in LAX. Are you still there? 🌴🌴Aloha

I was only in Hawaii for two weeks last month, but I certainly enjoyed my time while I was there. Hawaiian started their AUS route back in April of this year, so it's a new route for them. I'm really glad it's a direct flight, cause that makes it sooooo easy to get to Hawaii from here. I really hope that AUS opens more of these kind of routes to long haul destinations in the coming months.

loved this video ! Point of correction in pronouncing Honolulu... proper pronunciation is that Honolulu has no 'a'. Hoe (like the garden tool) - know - lou - lou .

Cause In Hawaii they take Covid seriously because it’s a island… kids are the biggest spreaders on the island. I work at the hospital here… it almost always came from a kid in school that gets grandpa sick. Get what I’m saying?
