A very rare afternoon at Vancouver YVR! Philippine Airlines A350-900 (Unusual visitor) and a Boeing 777-300(ER), both doing repatriation flights to Vancouver from Manila. The A350 will continue to Toronto and the B777 will return back to the Philippines. Hope you enjoy. Cheers!!!

Another great video of two Philippines Airlines aircraft touching down at YVR. Great n excellent job.So sad to see so little activities at YVR and indeed all airports the world over. Was this a repatriation flight chartered by the Filipino government? Just wanted to know. Nice video! Let's hope COVID-19 ends soon. Apparently, we actually are flattening the curve here in Canada! Have you seen news entries about that?

I believe these flights were arranged by the Canadian government to ferry stranded Canadian tourists in the Philippines. The Philippine tourism department has been conducting sweeper flights to collect foreign tourists stranded on different islands throughout the country and bringing them to Manila where they can take their respective flights to their home countries. I think there are two more repatriation flights for stranded Canadians scheduled in the coming days.
