@ROOTSCONTRA I get it, everyone at some point thinks that God made ppl sick, or asks why He doesn't just make evil go away. I get where you are coming from, really... But the one who created the Universe, and all good things, flowers green fields , animals, good food, as well as ppl like me and you....m He is Holy, He is perfect, and He has placed into our hands a guide for living good clean and healthy lives. But, those who prefer to ignore or deny His instructions for life, put themselves in a vulnerable and dangerous position where they transgress those boundaries and find themselves in a bad way. This world in broken, in a 'fallen' state, so are we....what we need is a Savior and so, He sent His own child, His name is Yeshua, (means salvation in Hebrew) aka Jesus, to be that Saviour. Does it mean He made everything bad go away, no, men continue to break those rules (just like our own parents setting house rules, and we break them) thus keeping bad things happening. But, those who have accepted this gift of salvation (you cannot earn a ticket to heaven) have peace, joy and hope that all will work out in the end. I hope you will just take a look at the Bible with an open mind and open heart. You sound like you may have had a tragedy in your life. I have too. But I am not fearful of what lies ahead, and I feel peace and security during this difficult time. I will be praying for you to just consider that this God we talk about might just be waiting for you to have a talk with Him...alone, just you and Him, tell Him what ever you want, I promise you, He IS listening.
