Do you remember what the temperature was? I see some people wearing long sleeves. I"m coming in May and trying to figure out if I need to bring long sleeves for night time haha thank you!! :)
May is almost the beginning of summer. It is about 10 degrees difference from the winter and summer and even during the winter is when shorts are popular unless you are very sensitive. You are welcome to bring sweaters for top of the mountain where the air is more cool. Welcome to Hawaii where you can enjoy the beach even in the middle of the winter. 🙂
Just as I remember it, still busy and noisy! Although I was born and raised there, now living in Calif, when we visit, I get kamaaina rate, so we stay sometimes in Waikiki! Last stay was on Queen Liliuokalani st in a condo.
