I live in cove, since the army reloaced me to fort hood. i loved the areas so much, i stayed when my hitch was over. I would love to have seen this town in its hayday.
My parents live in copperas cove (i am in san antonio). They are only about a mile from the duck pond park and the main square area. My 7 yr old and i go there every 2 to 3 months and stay for a few weeks just to get away from the craziness in the city. One of our favorite things to do is to go to the planetarium which is not far at all and almost always we are the only ones there. I am surprised that more ppl don't go given its convenient location and affordable prices. The ppl in copperas cove are ABOVE AVERAGE friendly. It is really a nice town ... but let's not publicize it too much or what happened to my hometown, austin (born and raised) might happen there. I have learned to brag less about spots in texas that mean alot to me since the liberal take over of austin. They turned our great, clean hippy town into a trashy snotty LA 2.0. 😢
My wife said something similar recently about Brownwood. Something about not showing the town off or others would move in and ruin it. Lol Thank you for watching and subscribing!
