However, it must be following the following formula and rules, as to gain time during development. *1.* Your idea must atleast make sense within its name, atleast try finding an interesting name for it. *2.* Any ideas that are cartoon-themed, movie/show-themed, character-themed or username-based (except in some cases where I can make it unaffiliated with said username), etc. are forbidden. *3.* Any versions released before 1956 and after 10^34 / 1e+34 are forbidden. *4.* Atleast put a minimum of originality in your never released operating systems ideas, not just numberical version (1, 2, 3, 4...), in other words, consider making it interesting to make. FORMULA TO USE -> OS Mockup idea name, date (Month and Year), the company's name (real (must be atleast tech companies!) or fictional), the theme of the mockup, sounds to use (can be sounds from the internet, HMK, or OSMK, or anything you'd like to hear), and if you can, a description of the bootscreen (font, design, etc). *(temporary) 5.* Your ideas must be atleast 70% christmas themed ideas.
3. Especially the "Imperium One" sounds, these sounds are fit for the futuristic feel. 4. These designs are realistic as if it was some real operating systems. Blackstar OS has a futuristic feel and look as if it's on a Sci-Fi movie. Ideas: Snowbright System (Jun 1996) - by Lendosen The theme of the mockup is about design and flexibility, the design can be related to snow, hence the "Snowbright System" name. The startup sound is from Fusoxide/Glosswired Windows Boise startup, and the shutdown sound could be a door closing sound effect on the internet. Windows NTW (Dec 2000) - by Microsoft Being an NT system, the theme for the mockup is the winter seasons and winter look. It also has an exclusive color scheme called "NTW Snow". The sounds might be the same with Windows 2000 and ME. Windows Arctic Circle (Jul 2002) - by Microsoft Named after the Arctic Circle, the theme for the OS is the climate in the Arctic. In terms of personalization, it also has a "Greenland" theme, besides the Luna theme and other XP themes. I don't know what sounds to choose. IceOS (Jan 2011) - by Kyltenian Electronic Subsidiary (KES) The theme of the mockup is about ice and the winter feel. It was created by the KES, short for Kyltenian Electronic Subsidiary, a tech company in the fictional country of Kyltenia. The startup sound is the "LG Unknown Startup" sound from the GMM Mobile Phone Soundpack. No shutdown sound. Windows Universal Environment (May 2016) - by Microsoft Windows UE is an attempt at an IoT operating system by Microsoft that works for phones, tablets, TVs, ATMs, and computers. It was a universal operating system, just like Huawei HarmonyOS. The startup sound is the same with the Windows Vista/7/8/8.1/10 startup sound. The North Pole (Oct 2020) - by Teroniasys Named after the north pole, it's design has mostly the white color and some gradients. Being a Linux system, it uses the GNOME desktop interface. The font for the mockup is Lato, and the sounds are from KDE Borealis scheme. Neumorph (Jun 2021) - by Willsands-Creoria Technologies It is an operating system that has a design language based on neumorphism. The theme for the OS is easy use and a simple environment. The font for the OS is Lexend, and the startup sound is the Windows Phone 11.5 startup sound from GMM AWTL. There is no shutdown sound. Borealsystem (Nov 2022) - by Nordel A.S Named after Aurora Borealis, the theme of the mockup is the Northern Lights, the winter landscape, and snow. The font for the mockup is Plus Jakarta Sans. The sounds are the Huawei Weather snow sound as startup and Huawei Weather mostly cloudy sound as shutdown. The Winter Road (Dec 2023) - by Anterra Corp. The theme and design for the mockup is about the winter season and the light colors. It is known for being a winter-themed simple and non-cluttered operating system. Holograf OS (Dec 2041) - by Lunetta Electronics Known as the 1st holographic OS, the interface was designed to fit for the future and the holographic feel. The boot screen is the logo at the center, the copyright message at the top left corner, and the boot bar at the bottom right. The startup sound is the Windows Mobile 11 startup from GMM AWTL.
3: The sounds are "solid gold", especially TiraOS. You guys did a spectacular job with these as always. There are my ideas for the next episode. Windows Codename Xmas (Nov 1993) - by Microsoft This is a beta version of a Christmas-exclusive version of Windows. The design for the bootscreen contains a green box with falling snow, and the Windows logo in red. The sounds are the same as Windows 3.1. Tranquility Wreath (Jan 2006) - by Parallel Jewel Enterprises The theme for this system is the snowy landscape, and light colors. Communal Automated Nexus Environment [CANE] (Dec 2019) - by Eggnog Electronics The theme for this system is about having the best use for making ideas. This system contains a color scheme called "CANDY CANE". FrostbiteLinux (Jan 2023) - by Flake-Ton The theme for this system is about blizzards and ice. The design for this system is to have a snowy background and the name in black, along with the logo which is a black beanie. The South Pole (Sep 2024) - by Figure 8 Corporation This system is named after the south pole. The theme for this system is about snow and ice. The sounds are the same as Windows 16 from GMM's Alternative Timeline. Frostix (Jul 2025) - by C.A.R.O.L Media The theme for this system is all about the winter season. The sounds could be something related to the jingle bells or something. Ornament-O (Dec 2040) - by Blizzard Operated Technologies The theme for this system is something about the holiday season, and the Christmas landscape. The design are as follows: the Ornament part of "Ornament-O" is colored red, while the second O is shaped like an actual Christmas ornament and it is gold with a red hook on top. It also has a loading circle which is shaped like a ornament as well. Finally, the copyright description is located on the bottom left of the screen. Imperium Two (May 2875) - by Mexustech This system is the sequel to the first version of Imperium. The design is similar to the first, but the background is red, and both the "Imperium" and the Welcome Back sections have switched places. The sounds are the same as Imperium One. Neon I (Nov 3579) by Decker Extraterrestrial Corporation. Another successor to the Windows series. The design for this system contains amazing neon elements, and the logo is a red "N" with a blue outline. Geno War Machine (Oct 9999) - by Quotidian Labs. This system is the very last system to be made in a 4-digit year. It was made to help humans battle invaders from space who might take over the planet. The theme for this system is to have a powerful heroic feeling to the user, that's all I can think about.
1. tbh, I don't really see any difference between the mockups created in Photoshop and PDN... 2. Wow, I actually didn't notice that! 3. The sounds all fit perfectly with the mockup designs. 4. The mockup designs never disappoint. I don't know if you would understand this, but I like "literal" kind of feel in the mockups, as in your mockups fit with the image well. (oh god i did not do well in explaining that...) 5. *Why even ask?* 6. oh no!!!1111!11!!!! Also here's a question, are you finding Photoshop hard to learn?
Dang i remember watching these types of videos all day when i was younger. To be honest, I always skipped to the future part (ATE and onward) because those seemed like the coolest to me. And yes I remember watching your old videos when you were still called GabrielGamer, and now I see you've really stepped up your game with your more recent content. It looks so much cleaner and better, so good job on that!
