Today I installed the LED 5th gen 4Runner Headlights from cartrimhome.com! I would consider these an alternative to the Alpharex and Morimoto headlights BUT at half the price.

The installation was pretty straight forward. Remove the bumper, remove the old lights, and install the new lights. The only catch is the DRL cable needs to be tapped into the fuse box. You can find the fuse tap in the links below!

POST VIDEO REVIEW:
I took a quick drive around at night and WOW, these are bright. I feel like I would have been more impressed if I wasn't coming from LED replacement bulbs. The OEM housing with the replacement LEDs were already bright but these are a bit brighter. You can even see the beam pattern on objects that are blocks away. But like I mentioned in the video, the biggest factor in replacing the OEM lights was the appearance. My stock headlights were getting hazy and needed to be replaced asap!
NOTES:
- I received new headlights from Cartrimhome.com for my 2014-2024 4Runner and am collaborating with them by promoting their products through videos.
- These new headlights cost around $800, which is much cheaper than other high-end aftermarket options like Morimoto, which are about $1,500.
- The headlights feature built-in LEDs, ABS plastic and polycarbonate lenses, black housing with a clear lens, and are durable, water-resistant, and impact-resistant.
- Installing these headlights requires removing the bumper but involves no modifications, and I linked the official installation video from Cartrimhome.com.
- The new headlights have a unique startup sequence, and the daytime running lights need to be connected to the fuse box. I demonstrated this by tapping into existing connections.
