Can anyone help me out? I bought these off the site and am currently trying to swap them out now. But the plugs from the OEM to the new ones are completely different. Was there a harness that was supposed to be included or do these not work for a 2014 4Runner Any advice helps
Unfortunately there isn't that we know of, that's because if there is no turn signal that model will not have the hole or wiring to the mirror for the signal.
Can you still see the light if you’re in the blind spot of the vehicle? Light shows on original on a small corner by mirror for traffic in your blind spot if you are signaling over.
I believe you're referring to blind spot monitoring which is a feature that only comes on some trims, and yes, this product only changes out the factory single blinking turn signal for one that has a sequence so no other components are being changed.
This is the question I have as well. If you are standing around the rear tire, or in a blind spot area, you can see the OEM light blinking. Curious if you are able to see this this blinking from the same spot or in a blind spot location.
@MrBruns I get exactly what your saying.The old lights blinked as a whole light so it was visible from the rear.These new lights will be seen the same way because when the sequential lights store to the furthest point on the outside of the mirror,it will show as blinking when it hits the furthest to the outside.Hope that makes sense👍
That's a great question, It does work with the limited but we aren't sure about the 2022. If you have existing turn signals then it would almost definitely work. Puddle light should not be affected at all by this install.
