I've done this mod on both my previous 19' and my 21' without issue. I found it far easier to just remove the taillight for the rears. My coworkers always comment and ask why they're so bright. That's the whole point.
Sounds like you ordered the wrong ones. They sell the standard ones that need a resistor installed inline and then they sell a more expensive "canbus" error free bulb that is plug and play. They are almost twice as expensive but they work as you can see in my video.
@@TwistedJake i got the canbus error free the most expensive one, Lasfit even sent me another pair but I think it doesnt work for the 21 model. So I just replaced my whole headlight with Alpharex Luxx
1) I'm a fan of my OEM housings that are more reliable, fit better, work better, and in my opinion look better than any other option out there. 2) I personally can't stand the alpharex lights.
@Twisted Jake I saw another video the guy removed the entire light housing, on yours just the plug like the back up lights which I did I don't want to pull to hard and break them, do you have to remove the entire housing or no?
Mine is a 2018 and they've been working perfect. Did you get the more expensive canbus ones? They have some regular ones that require a resistor be wired in.
