I don;t mind at all! Google "panhard bar" it basically keeps the rear (or front) axle centered under the frame. Sometimes called a track bar. What I welded was the bracket on the axle that the panhard bar connects to.

I have an adjustable panhard, it's still supposed to be horizontal at ride height. And in case you didn't notice, I don't drive a race car. Regardless of your "theories", this modification made my truck handle a million times better on and off road.
