What a perverted creep. I feel so bad for her cus you could tell she seems very uncomfortable. I hope the company realizes what they’re doing and protects her well..
@@soumya5832 ok? M just saying that the company should realize how this could affect her. Yk the company can realize they did smth wrong and take actions before it’s too late.
the company knows. The youtube program in question has a sexual innuendo as their name, and they interview maxim (playboy equivalent) models, twitch/afreeca streamers (yes the ones that dance sexually), etc. The company absolutely knew what they were doing sending her there, and they probably prepared that question knowing she would be preparing at Casscool in advance.
Yeah, because she was too embarrassed to say, "My group isn't popular enough to get invited to an event that big". It has nothing to do with showing off her body, which Jeewon has already done several times before. People love to project their ideas on idols.
@@MarkDeSade100that’s such a reach… she’s clearly covering her chest after they said that. i think it’s pretty clear it’s the comment about her body that made her uncomfortable
@@emmi999I guess the most obvious and direct answer to the question is "a reach". I like cignature but it's true, their fandom is very small and they're not going to get invited to big events. Of course it would be embarrassing to be questioned about this.
As soon as a girl stops being a minor, their value as a human being decreases and it means that people think they have the right to discuss and sexualise a woman’s body because she’s “grown” and has no choice but to comply. Some people seriously need to get their heads and morals checked if they think being grown warrants strangers discussing a woman’s chest and physique when she’s clearly and visibly uncomfortable.
It's more like once they become "legal" aged, men just go mask off and say all the nastiest, most sexual things they wanted to say out loud when she was a minor. It's just that if they said those things when she was a minor, they would get rightfully called paedophiles.
I remember hearing about something similar happening to Girl's Day years ago. They were told to jump in a pool at some event and it was all very sexualized. They were basically forced to do it and at the time I'm pretty sure that Hyeri (better known to most international fans as the BFF of Rose from Blackpink) was a minor at the time. There was another member who might have been too.
That "self hug" is a natural reaction to vulnerability, so she didn't just feel ashamed but in danger, as somehow. Can't imagine what went through her head at that exact moment
@@strudelhI’m saying besides the comment which anyone would probably not like even if they liked wearing revealing clothes has she said she doesn’t like wearing them?
As a K-pop stan, I think he should've just asked "Why she didn't attend the Waterbomb festival?" With right intentions Instead of that, Idols should leave their company if they are treated like this.
That's probably what the paper he was reading off of said. I would like to think he said it only because it's his job to ask it that way. If he apologized for making her uncomfortable, it would have been off camera. The real issue is the company and stylist who put her in revealing clothes.
I’m wondering if he’s asking in a way that’s a shock factor or what fans have said about her? Since fans comment that this male or female idol has a good body
@@elizabethkelley2559 sacrificing human decency for your job is not an excuse. A good interviewer knows how to makes guest comfortable and ask engaging questions. THATS there job. If all hes good for is reading questions we dont need interviewers just give the guest a prompt card instead atleast then they can choose how they want to answer it.
The idea behind that youtube program is to be sexual in nature. The name of the program has sexual innuendos. They interview Maxim models (equivalent of Playboy models), afreeca/twitch streamers (yes the sexual ones), etc. The company knew what they were doing when they sent her out, and they helped prepare the questions that were asked by the MC.
Its high time idols speak about this... In songs they are seem as cool and daring but in real life they are cowards... They should say something atleast for the future idols...
Why would they say such a thing in an interview?? They can ask her so much but from all those they practically asked her "why didn't you perform half naked at a water festival so we can see you chest???"
it's a sexual youtube program with a sexual innuendo as the program's name. They interview maxim (playboy equivalent) models and twitch/afreeca streamers that want to direct thirsty male traffic to themselves. It's not really the program's fault, they make it clear what they're about. It's the agency that sent her out, and they prepared the questions too for sure.
Jeewon has one of the cutest smiles she dont need that kind of promotion, she attracts just with her presence sadly cignature's company has mismanaged the group since Good Day
that is DISGUSTING ACT from their agency....these girls is an idol, not a s*x worker...and my opinion, either girl group or boy group should be on legal age to be perform on those kind of festival, especially with revealing outfit. and agency should ask the member if they comfy with the outfit.
it's truly insanely hard to be a female idol. i can't imagine having to deal with creeps like that and not having the freedom to clap back. my heart goes out to her, she's so strong for enduring this
honestly the waterbomb festival is a weird concept. literally just an excuse to see idols’ bodies while wet. i still remember the fuss they made about karina using a binder 💀
@@dorklew7949guys don’t go topless and women don’t get to wear bikini during winter rigjt unless you are saying it’s revealing then yeah it’s just you being conservative nothing wrong tho
I’ve been stanning Cignature since they were Good Day and to see Jeewon being treated like this is heartbreaking. She’s one of the brightest souls in kpop and it’s disgusting that their company seems to be sexualizing her.
This is so wrong to ask that question to her and she was really uncomfortable to answer that question by the mc and even her own agency. She doesn’t deserve to be sexualized like that. She deserve to be treated better more than sexualized. Plus, she is young and giving her an uncomfortable outfit for her to wear to the festival. This is not right for her
As an adult man, that's not the type of content we want to see, I would prefer seeing her being happy with her friends on stage. Agencies please take notes
not only the mc is at fault here. interview questions are often written and approved by several people. in some cases even by the company staff of the idol that's being interviewed. like come on, people, get it together.
Jeewon and a few other members of Cignature were also in a group called GOOD DAY a while ago and has been always known for her beautiful gummy smile. It’s sad knowing abt this it’s so sick of her agency to be s*xual¡zing her. Pls give Cignature a listen! Their songs called ASSA and Boyfriend are my favourites they have pretty good songs and the members are lovely!
I feel bad for her. They're using her for attention just because she's more blessed in an area. Can't believe they gave her a bikini with a flimsy cover up. That's disgusting that the Mc asked her that. You can see she's visibly uncomfortable and disgusted by his question.
the MC is essentially asking "why aren't you dancing in a bikini" and not at all about no waterbomb festival. It sucks to be a girl group member in Asia, as soon as they're no longer a minor every middle aged man seems to think they're entitled to make sexual remarks on their body
First of all that mc should be ashamed of himself he's about the same age of this idol secondly her agency should be double ashamed of themselves i swear to god these things are on nerves shameless peeps these idols become idols to sing dance and enjoy their dream not to sExUaliZe some old men #StopSexualingIdols #StopForcingIdols
everytime i see an aurora fancam for jeewon i dread looking at the comments. people are just so disgusting. and her agency most of all. justice for cignature
i was literally scrolling down my shorts and a video clip of her appeared with korean captions talking about her chest moving as she dances 😭 jeewon is my bias and it's disgusting to see men talking about her like that. the comments were awful, i immediately report it.
I've been following cignature since arisong era and jeewon always stood out to me for how adorable she was. Ever since aurora era, I started noticing all these thirst fancams. This really got out of hand now. This is not the jeewon nor the cignature we wanted
Her agency is to blame, not the host interviewing her on that show. That is the nature and concept of that particular show-they make adult jokes and do comedy with sexual adult content. They’re not just targeting her particularly-they talk that way with all of their guests. Knowing that, if this kind of talk show and concept makes her uncomfortable, the agency should not have sent her on this show. The hosts are not to blame. I feel bad for her because she is clearly uncomfortable on the show. But it would make no sense for the hosts to treat her differently than other guests when they’re just following the concept of their show. Her agency shouldn’t have put her on that show if this is not suitable for her. Some celebrities don’t mind taking part in this kind of content-it’s up to her and her agency. There are plenty of other talk shows to appear on with less provocative concepts.
just because it's the concept of their show to "make adult jokes" doesn't mean they get to sexualize her and make gross comments about her body. Sexualizing someone isn't a joke it's direspect. Both are at fault
Why when boys reveal their bodies no one say a thing. And when it's a girl, they either say: you are sexualising her. Or you are not giving her attention as you do to male idols.
Y'all I don't know if this is a controversial opinion but female idols, especially underaged female idols should not be allowed to wear short skirts/crop tops/off shoulder tops or at lease wear the ones that properly cover their safety garments. That won't guarantee that they'll be saved from being se'ualized, but they'll at least keep the idols from feeling uncomfortable while performing. I know it's the companies that decide what they wear, I hope it becomes a general rule for all companies soon because it's extremely uncomfortable watching underaged women dancing in clothes that are barely holding on or covering them where they NEED to be covered. As far as the need to express themselves is concerned, those adult idols should be given a choice to do it if they want to. I believe wearing revealing clothes off stage would be much more comfortable than on stage.
explaination from a korean:kwon eunbi, minhyuk, mingi and many artist went viral in waterbomb jiwon too and her and kwon eunbi trended for their bodies but eunbi was seen in waterbomb but jiwon wasn't so ppl started speculating as to why since waterbomb takes trending artists some ppl said the company may be restricting her or that waterbomb was discriminative towards less known groups this was also ateez's first waterbomb the man is known to be blunt and he was reading from a script but was respectful towards her in the whole episode and even asked the staff "how can we ask this" 😊
i remember when i used to stan cignature ☹️ i didn't know they were still active, it's so sad to see jeewon in this situation as she was my bias 😭 the kpop industry sucks and i hope she leaves the group as well the other members, bc following ur dreams does not mean being sexualised.
its so unfortunate that a woman can naturally have large breasts and suddenly everyone thinks they have the right to sexualize her because of it. to say that someone should go to water bomb for their body is so disgusting. and about the outfit... i can only hope shes genuinely ok with it. coz as someone who isnt comfortable showing my chest i would absolutely lose my shit if i was forced to wear that and id hate to think of people going through it
tbh I’m not even surprised c9 doesn’t even care (yes ik that she’s under j9 but it’s a subsidiary). they haven’t cared about any of their groups since they debuted. cix had to wait nearly a year for a cb with 458, they were the cause of epex’s holocaust controversy, and they’ve mistreated cignature since their debut
New Zenith here and I really just feel so attracted to EPEX, but so unnatracted to what their company does.... Their debut was about COVID, their debut album was called bipolar, their newest song is about jealousy (this one is a bit lighter than the others) and the holocaust song.......... What the f man... I didn't even think CIX we're mistreated! I really thought it's a nice company...Now cignature... I thought c9 is having beef only with EPEX, but looks like cignature are also there on the list... I feel so bad for her man like just imagine being talked about this.... We love you Jeewon! ❤
@@myheartwillgowonandon5467 I've been a zenith since debut and I totally agree. I don't mind the song about jealousy (assuming you're talking about sunshower), in fact I really like it. it's strange to me that only their darker concepts have gotten them under fire, and with the cb they're prepping being a darker concept I'm nervous they'll be in yet another controversy. cignature had to wait over a year between boyfriend and aurora as well!
@@gahyeonsgf2685 AYOOO samee! I haven't been a Zenith since debut but still... I'm so scared about this concept... And also, I don't mind the sunshower concept either, just some haters said it's weird idk and about cignature... I really wish they would be treated well... Poor girl... They don't deserve all of this...
this entire situation of companies basically using their idols’ bodies for clout is really infuriating me especially when the idol themselves have showed or stated that they are uncomfortable, and the fact that c9 entertainment sent them to a festival after this show and let her wear a bikini top with a white top that exposed her chest area. protect all idols wellbeing!!
i never liked tak jaehoon, he gives me some major bad vibes and most female idols on his show seem nervous or uncomfortable. he just gives off those creepy older man vibes. the controversy is super deserved, i hope he continues getting hated on for what he did to her. what really sucks is that this is how i found out about cignature 😭 i didn't know about them until now, and it feels so icky that i'm finding out about them because of a bunch of creeps. i hope that jeewon is okay. ❤❤
The MC Tak JaeHoon is like that. Just watch him in My Little Old Boy. He talks about things that is uncomfortable to talk about to people younger than him joining the show or inappropriate in front of camera and he’s divorced.
The amount of people I have seen saying “she’s an adult, it’s her fault” is disgusting. No one knows the meaning of being sexualised anymore. Just because it’s more common with minors doesn’t mean it can’t happen with adults.
@@lovelymill people make up any way to victim-blame someone. The world we live in is sad, being shamed for her appearance and then blaming her for it is horrible.
Korea isn’t nearly as progressive as the west. Misogyny still exists within the culture and social aspects, which is sad. It’s very common there unfortunately.
nooo this is horrible, why cignature’s conpany is suddenly doing this and this man, what kind of question is this??? why was it even allowed to be asked on this show? and didn’t they think such questions are inappropriate to ask in any circumstances?
jiwon is so sweet and has been working hard as an idol forever im so sorry for her and because she isn’t super popular they probably think they can get away with making her wear revealing things
Why do people think having a good figure/assets/whatever automatically equals that girl wants to show it off explicitly at every opportunity? Some people have bangin bodies and just want to live life the same as everyone else. She probably wants to be loved for her singing and performing and is instead being marketed just for her chest. I feel so bad for her. We need to get her Jihyo's stylist. Jihyo never has wardrobe malfunctions and her chest is kept secure by whatever clothes even when shes dancing at level 100 intensity. This girl deserves that level of wardrobe security, not a bikini top pushing her chest out that you can see shes trying to cover with the white overthing.
I saw that too... I would be so uncomfortable and wouldn't dance well because of that (or maybe because idk how to dance 😂) but honestly, get her jihyos stylist...
That question was so creepy. Even I, who has nothing to do with it, am feeling harrassed just by watching it. I really felt so bad for her. (Guys, is this phrase written wrong? Should I write "Even myself"? or "Even me"? And what verb to be should I use?? It's a genuine question...)
Oh noo poor girl! I haven't seen the full video but from the short clip it really seems she was very uncomfortable about what the mc said😭😭 that was so unnecessary and disgusting of him to say especially on a show that's broadcasted for so many people to see🥲
