We switched to Math U See this year and have seen phenomenal results. I am amazed that more homeschool mom content creators aren't talking about this curriculum. The way Mr Demme explains and teaches math is mind-blowing. His methods are so simple and with those blocks the kids actually SEE the math, which has made all the difference in the world for my children. I have four using Math U See!
This is really making me reflect honestly on this year and how my youngest (also a 4th grader) was just swept up in what his older siblings were doing because it was easier for me, but not necessarily best for him 🤔 Thank you for this video ❤
These videos encourage me so much as I sometimes feel the mom guilt heavy when the curriculum I chose didn’t work for my kiddo and I had to figure out how to adjust, acclimate, or change altogether.
I'm so bummed to hear about Truthquest History. I have been following you for a couple of years raving about it. I finally decided to bite the bullet and buy the first one for young learners. Now I'm worried we won't be able to find any books. Hopefully it won't be that bad since it's a newer version, like you said.
@@ravenbird3014 That's good to know. I'm torn on whether to spend the money on buying the curriculum early. I can't find how recent the edition is and if the books have been updated. I have no idea how often the list gets updated either. It's not listed on the website.
We do have a very old version. But even then we were able to find what we needed and even watch videos. I also like her perspective on things. Her commentary was just very thought provoking.
Hi! Thanks so much for your videos! My son did SS Level 1A this year as well. So next year he should do Level 2A not Level 1B? I'm confused with what to do next. Thanks so much!
