Up the cabin for the Forth of July solo trip. Weather has been a little stormy lately, but decided to go anyway after already postponing one run up.
Had some plans to do a few things if I could, got most of them wrapped up, list really wasn't too long.
Sunday after, well it rained, so I ate, a Freemont boil from Aldi, with shrimp, sausage, mussels, potatoes and corn was first up. Fairly good for 10 bucks, though it's really just enough for one person.
After dinner it was time to take a look at a custom rolled cigar from Francisco Almonte and DBL cigars. Very good, enjoyed it down to the stump. Along with the cigar was some Monkey's Shoulder Scotch. Mild with a good flavor, haven't had any in a long time, so my taste may not be right, but was good to me.
Monday brought early rain, then some sun and clouds. Had a chance to get 80 lbs of lime out in the clover field. It's doing better not that there is some rain around. Should have put down a little more, but that should get things started.
Over to the mineral pit to put down some more Lucky Buck, a deer protein block and some alfalfa. We are getting some bear, doe with fawns around a lot, but our bucks are not visiting on a regular basis.
