Nicole, I am so glad there was no damage to your home and you guys are not hurt. It is frustrating of so much debris in your yard but that can be cleaned up. All of our prayers were answered that you and your husband were not hurt. We had an EF-3 tornado 5 miles from us in Indiana from Beryl.
I follow Jess in Michigan and she mentioned you and the hurricane coming through your area so checking in to see how you're doing. Looks like a major mess clean up, but happy to see you and home came through it. Sad to see many of your trees and plants took a hit. Beautiful and adorable dogs you have with you! Glad you are all well. God bless you.
Did she??? OMG, Jes is such a sweetheart 💘 I haven’t been able to be on RU-vid much; we still don’t have power 😫 They are saying maybe by the 15th of July. We are melting here 🫠 I get a break when I go to work, but my poor hubby and dogs 🥵 Thank you so very much for checking up on us! ❤️
Thankful that you all are ok. Yards can be cleaned up, clean up will happen, repairs will be made. The important thing is you, hubby and your animals. ❤
We love you Nicole! It hurts to see you so very sad for your garden and your property. Have a glass of wine and remember your friends love you. If we could jump on a plane to come help you, you know it girl we would! ❤❤
ohhhh noooo my friend...my heart breaks for you and your lovely garden :( you have worked sooo hard on it...thank goodness you and your husband and fur babies are ok!
Oh Nicole, I'm so sorry for your loss and all the damage. I wish I was close to you to come by and lend a helping hand. Glad you and Mr. Smith are safe. 🙏🙏🙏
@@harveycontainergardener332 thank you, Ursula! You are so sweet ❤️ Hopefully they get the electricity back on soon! I can’t take the heat anymore. It’s so hard to sleep in a 90° house 😫
Glad y’all are ok. I wondered how the quail faired. I’m glad they are ok too. You worked so hard on that garden. You will make it lovely again. All those branches are screaming lots of wood mulch.
“I’m going to find that damn pear cause I’m going to eat it” girl you got me cracking up about your pear Hoe bath😂 Nicole! So hilarious. So grateful that you and Mr Smith are good, that your homes are good.
@@RootedInTx GIRL!!! I’ve been meaning to text you! I’m having a really hard time keeping my phone charged and cell service is spotty. I’m at the office today, CHARGING ALL THE THINGS. Laptop, 2 phones, and 3 external phone chargers. 😩 I’m also soaking up all this juicy AC! 🤤 Do you guys have power?
I’m glad you all made it safely through the storm, but what mess! Clean up will keep you busy for days. You would be smart to take down those trees near the house. Love your face! ❤
Nicole, happy that y’all are fine. As so many have said already, be careful during the clean up. Sorry about the potager garden. 😢Hopefully, most plants are salvageable. 😂@ the ho bath. You gotta do what you gotta do! 😂 Take care!
Hi Nicole, I am sorry you and so many people are experiencing devastation from Hurricane Beryl. Yes, that wind is scary. A huge oak tree was uprooted and layed down in my background a few years ago in central Georgia. I was thankful it did not land on my house. I am glad you and your family are safe in well in spite of it all. Sincerely, Wanda
@@wandagreen4330 Oh my goodness! Big trees are so pretty, but also scary.🫣 Thank you so much for your kind words! I’ll be ever so thankful if they would just get the electricity back up 🤬 It’s so dang hot!🥵
I’m glad to see your family and home is in good standing. This was beyond scary to see those gust coming in. This was a a busy week for us cleaning up.
@@yoyosalo so scary! I’ve never experienced wind like that. I hope you didn’t have any major damage. Were you without power? We just got ours back on yesterday evening. 6 days was way too long in this heat!
@@NicoleSmithGardening No major damage in my property just broken limbs and branches. Yes, we just got our power back on yesterday night and yes 6 days was too much. Although we had the generator running, gas was impossible to get.
Be careful walking under the trees. I'm in Central Florida and have learned that some trees have damage that doesn't fall out until later on. You might notice a brown-leafed branch suspended up there a couple of months from now, or suddenly hear something fall. Just be aware. And, on an optomistic note, we gardeners don't start over, because we're always starting something! In a few months you'll be like... wut? I don't have space for these jalapenos??
@@carmyn692 you are 💯 correct about these trees! We’ll be careful. You’re right about not starting over too! LOL! 😂 I’ll have that garden packed full in no time 😃✌️
I'm so happy to see you all made it through..❤! Now the fun begins😮 prayers you get your electric back on soon. But there's a lot of people without Electricity in Texas from the hurricane 😢. Sending hugs and prayers
Thanks for the update!! I've been thinking of you. So much damage :( I'm sorry you're having to deal with that. Very frustrating -- I'm sure. Those trees are HUGE. I bet that was scary. Glad you guys are okay health-wise.
@@emilygardner yeah, those trees have got to go! Thank you so much for thinking of us. Hopefully we have power soon. They are estimating July 14th, but I sure hope it’s sooner 🥵
Those trees so close to the house 🏡 look scary. In our neighborhood I saw how these big trees just fell down. The roots couldn't hold them. I hope you're going to find the pear 🍐 at least the tree is still there. Take care 💕
@@BramptonGardener such a mess!! So sorry for the delay in responding to things. Cell service and Internet has been real spotty. I’ll try to get caught up when I’m in the office tomorrow ❤️
