A good setup! Good seeing how you do things. Thank you for acknowledging the traditional owners. Great practice to get into 🖤💛❤ Mango's just gorgeous! I didn't see a fridge in your set up. Do you have one? What's the dometic gadget connected to your water tank? Is that a water purifier? If so, is there anything that dometic can't do!!!!???? We've got a domestic fridge, and we bloody love it!!!! Best investment ever!

Thanks for your kind words. I think its extremely important to acknowledge the traditional owners. I don't use a fridge at the moment, I have a oiled canvas wool filled cooler bag which i use for overnighters and I pop cooler brick in it. Works a treat! :) The water device is simple an electric faucet, plugs directily into the dometic jug which i've hidden under the side panel :) holds 11 litres

G'day mate! I bought the alloy checker plate from Bunnings and made up a new marine play and carpeted board for it to go on. The marine ply is fixed to the tailgate via factory bolt holes - good luck with your trip!

@NATV4X4 hi mate, sorry wasn't talking about the tailgate, I was interested in the storage tub with the gas struts and in particular the metal webbing plate in the lid that you have attached your torch and first aid kits etc. Was it an off the shelf item or did you get it cnc'd up.

@@nigelgibson1085 That's a 95L storage case which just happens to fit perfectly at the side canopy door. The gas struts are included, depending on which brand you go for, this one is Caos. They also sell the molle panel which attaches to the lid. I build out the kit with all of my must have gear so that I could easily remove it from the Ute when I'm not camping.

@@ianhoward3417 Not a worry mate, i know the feeling. Yeah he weighs in at around 45kgs, hes very athletic though, 3-4 walks per day normally and lots of running, i think thats why he is so chill and content when we camp. That's a Tasmanian tiger pouch, accessory pouch 7 in Olive. Great little pouch, lots of elastic straps inside. I use it for camera gear, or my water purification gear.
