This is footage from a while ago when I made a 4x5 inch large format analogue negative showing the entirety of one of the tanks in the WWII ex MOD site called Inchindown.
To get this shot I climbed the 45ft ladder, anchored the tripod and Camerdactyl 4x5 inch camera, switched to red light, opened the lens, climbed down the ladder and walked all of the 236m to the other end of the tank, popping the flash as I went. Then, I had to walk back down the tank in pitch-black and ascend the ladder so as not to contaminate the shot with any unwanted light. Thereafter, I closed the lens, dismantled the gear and exfiltrated from the facility.
The negative emulsion was made by ILFORD (HP5, shot and developed at 1600ISO). Good times!
