Before collecting electric fans, I used to (and still) collect battery powered mini fans. The reason is definitely because electric fans are bigger and more expensive.
As time went by, in 2010 I started having USB fans I usually plugged into my computer when I played games. Starting from soft-bladed fans, to oscillating fans with grilles. From this point on, USB fans started to appeal to me because they didn't require battery replacement like the battery fans I used to have.
Until finally in 2012 I visited Singapore with my family. There, I found a gift shop, which apparently sold various kinds of USB fans, including this special fan from Soundtech which caught my attention. Its shape really resembles the conventional electric box fan, but this is in miniature size! And it even has a louver that can move by the wind.
It has 5” size, a single speed, uses a brushless DC motor, and features an adjustable louver. The performance is also quiet, but the wind produced is not that strong.
Few years ago, I used this fan intensively on my computer desk, however, as time went by, I decided to put this fan to its box for preservation.
