We are overjoyed that Bebe was adopted, but RIP to the other 9 dogs who are now over the rainbow bridge🌈 That's 24 dogs killed since Friday. Adopters and fosters are just not stepping up like in the past. And the ones that do are so discouraged seeing the dogs they wanted get killed, that they often disappear because they are heartbroken and wanted to save one specific dog they connected with. You'd think that animal control would crack down on backyard breeders, but no. All this senseless death means nothing to AVAS staff. Just another day at work for them. Truly disgusting how apathetic they are to the murders of innocents.
Although their links are down, these dogs are still alive and need shares, pledges, fosters, and transport. PLEASE PM US IF YOU CAN FOSTER OR TRANSPORT and honor pledges only when you receive a freedom photo.
