Good stuff, just a small note. You wrote for the current ratio equation the contents of the working capital equation, which is still useful to look at for solvency but different. CR = CA/CL vs WC = CA=CL
the current ratio measures the liquidity of a business and not its solvency, as an example, you may have a current ratio less than one, which indicates that current assets are lower than current liabilities, while at the same time your total assets may be larger than your total liabilities, which indicates that you are solvent. It is important to distinguish between liquidity and solvency. My personal opinion.
OMG I was shocked that I think every finance-majored student should know these answers for the exam, however I don't assume anyone will still remember them without reviewing. By the way, it doesn't means that a finance student with a good mark can be a ready-to-work financial analyst. Am I correct?
I admire everything that you broadcast on your channel. I am a senior majoring in finance is their any tips that you recommend for a new analyst entering the job market. So far I have gotten an Excel Associate Certificate and the Securities Industry essential certificate. I love doing top- down stock valuations and financial analysis. Keep the videos coming.

Hi sir, I need an advice for my career. I am from India. I am a postgraduate in commerce(MCom)(2012) and did CA inter in 2010. ==I have 1 yr of experience in KPMG KGS and 2.5 yrs yrs in SAP testing and now want to make a career in finance. ==For the time being, I am unable to take up any course mentioned in this video. ==I am learning financial analysis, advanced excel, PowerBI, etc through online platforms like udemy and taking up the projects in financial modeling, etc. ==So, is it possible to get an entry level job as financial analyst if I keep on learning these things and don't pursue such course right now? Please guide. I really need an urgent advice on this.
Current ratio is a measure of liquidity, not solvency. Better to talk about interest coverage ratio (EBITDA/Int. Expense), debt/equity. Also CR is Current Assets/Current Liabilities. CA-CL is working capital.
