Hello AskGameDev community! This is Verinius, the developer of Lawmage Academy. First of all, I want to thank you for featuring my game on your channel. Back in 2018 when I started my game dev journey, I watched a lot of your videos on game design to help me design Lawmage Academy. I also saw the featured games and I thought to myself "Wow! Those games are amazing! I wish I could get featured on this channel one day." Well, it finally happened with this video. This really means a lot to me. Thank you for mentioning the background of the developers as well. I was really happy to know how each game had an interesting story in its development. Everything you mentioned about me is correct and accurate. I'm a full-time human rights lawyer in the Philippines and I work on this project in my spare time. My undegrad was Philosophy so I took a lot of inspiration from my readings as well back in college. I hope that in the future when people play my game, they would start to think seriously about the questions raised in this game. Hey guys, awesome video! I am glad to see a prominent RU-vid channel providing a platform for indie devs. I did have one suggestion for future videos. Do you think you can do the countdowns from 5th place and finish up on 1st? It helps build suspense and keeps the games that ranked lower from seeming "worse" or "less good" after following up the most recommended ones.

Part 4 of trying to make ask gamedev use the ‘we are ask gamedev aka’ intro I WILL go to part 50 if needed. And by the fact you didn’t use it this video, I might have to! Just using ‘we are ask gamedev’ is a little boring, don’t you think? I guess not, I won’t give up THAT easy though, I WILL GO FORTH.
This is great. We loved making those silly jokes at the start of the videos ... but the amount of hate they generated in the comments was honestly getting a bit much. Maybe we should bring it back for old times sake. Thanks for the support Soop Arch!
I love the many indies you bring to us. Potion permite is amazing one. What engine you recommend for me to dont have to program with code line? Im thinking on construct3. I use smile game builder but i need to do 3d stuffs and i dont like much
