I finished monster a week ago and all I can say is...its not just a mainstream anime. Its different. You need a certain level of maturity to understand it. If you have that and you've already watched it then you must know you have watched and experienced a masterpiece.

@Raunak Verma oh fumetsu no anata is also a good anime . I am enjoying this both anime alot this season. Death note is a good anime but they are better animes than Death note . People should watch them . This season many new isekai animes are out . And many of them are quite interesting. Like seirei gensouki spirit chronicle.
Perfect Blue Is Also A Good Story, it makes one question about oneself, whether the decision one took in their life was good or bad for oneself & when you change your social position what the people around you thinks of you before and after changing your position also counts on your life.

Death Note was my first anime and ofc holds a special place Among others, I have only watched Paranoia Agent and it creeped me out, made me think, my mind was blown, all in all, its a must watch, even the opening song was soo good and apt.

I don't think so attack on titan is some anime that will "break your mind"... I guess what he meant by this is a genre called "psychological" anime ...
